Unlucky Me

Chapter 8

I tried to crawl but it was no use, my legs are no use. The more I move the more the blood came out I just laid there no saying a thing. Death isn't beautiful anymore, its scary. Being closed in a small felt like death alone. There's nothing I could do. I closed my eyes as a couple more tears fell, falling asleep.

"Do you know what happened to him!?" I heard someone yell but I couldn't see, my eyes wouldn't open neither would my mouth which frightened me. Not being able to move my mouth and eyes terrifies me so much 'cuz how would I scream if I needed help? See the ones I love the most? Even the thought of being able to breathe through my mouth freaks me out even more. "His heart rate is speeding up." I heard someone say but, it wasn't the same voice as before. I felt someone grab my hand and squeeze tightly, "Please stay with me Adrien." They whimpered and by holding their hand and hearing their voice I immediately knew that it was E. It hurts that I couldn't hold him in my arms and reassure him that I'm alright no matter how bad u wanted to, I couldn't.

"Everyone else is here too!" E said truly trying to act as if everything was ok, that he was ok. "Jacob, Ashlynn, Emy, Parker and all our other friends!" He sniffed. "Not Liv." I heard a female murmur which I assume was Ashlynn. Knowing her she's never gonna let that go. "Yeah dude, we're not gonna leave ya. We would skip school and be with you all day if you like." Said a male who sat beside me, it was almost E's voice but deeper which meant that was Jacob. "You know he wouldn't want you to skip school J!" Ashlynn yelled and as a classic outcome the two were fighting again.

"Stop!" E whisper shouted. "Do you really think it's appropriate and respectful of you both to be fighting at Adrien's bedside!?" By the sound of his voice I don't think I've ever heard E that mad before. He must really care about me huh? Before I knew it they stopped, I bet they had guilt run down they're bodies after that. I smiled in my head just thinking that. "Hey look!" Ashlynn said and I heard everyone gasp which worried me. What happened? Did something happen to me? Is it bad? I could think of all the horrible things going on right now, but then I heard laughter. "No way-" "Adrien's smiling!" Aiden shouted. Smiling? I can move my mouth now? I tried moving every part of my body and the only progress I got was moving my hands and mouth.

After a few hours I stopped trying while the rest of them were in a huddle around me. "Today been a good day since Adrien's starting to get better faster than we expected as well." Parker said while caressing my face which made me smile again. I love you Parker, so much. I just wish I could tell you that to your handsome face. Just thinking that kinda made me cringe which is kinda funny and let out a small chuckle which shocked everyone. "He laughed!" Jacob exclaimed excitedly. "This day just gets better and better." Parker said rubbing my hands. His hands are cold. Welp, I bet my hands are cold too.

"Par...." I managed to say as I was finally able to open my eyes. "Adrien!" They all yelled running up and hugging me tightly. "Not too tight! My entire body hurts." I groaned and everyone let go except for E. I felt my face soften as I put my arms around him hugging him back, but not as hard 'cuz it hurts to do so. "I'm glad you're ok." He said in between sobs, I rubbed his back and kissed his forehead "I'm so sorry E, for everything. I hope that me 'seeing things' doesn't ruin our relationship 'cuz I'm telling you the truth when I say that I say a man." He didn't say a thing once he noticed how serious I was being. "You really saw a man?" "Yes. He was just staring at me then h-he started strangling me." I explained, everyone looked at as like I've gone insane except for E and Parker who seemed to believe me. "I believe you." Parker said sitting on the other side of me "Me too." E said giving me one of his warmest, most sincere smiles. "God, I'm tired and I wanna go home." I whined squeezing Parker's hand. "Well you can't, you aren't better yet. Once you are then you can come home with us and have fun again!" "Good." I smiled and  I don't remember anything after that.

God my body is hurting like crazy. I need some medicine maybe even a random hug would do I have no idea, I just want it to go away. I sat up to see that everyone was gone. Not even E and Parker were here, which kinda surprised me.

It was also about 10 something in the morning if I had to take a good guess. I was allowed to have my phone back after about 3 weeks and wow I have a lot of unread messages. Most if them are from E obviously and the others are from mom and dad. "Hm, lets see what they wanted." I read dad's messages first. "Hey Ad! I hope your doing ok! Your mom and I visited you yesterday but you didn't wake up the entire time, overall I was glad to be with you and make sure that your safe. After you get better wanna have another Father Son bonding night? Love ya." A huge smile spread across my face as I held my phone to my chest. "Thanks for checking on me dad. I'd love to hang out again! This time you pick out the activities! Love you too."

Then I went and checked mom's messages, "Hey honey! Mommy misses you! I hope you could come home soon so I could give you a huge hug. Rest easy now." "I miss you too mom, please don't hug me too tight tho my body might still be in pain. Lol."

Finally to check- oh. E's 42 messages...He must've really missed me. It took me at least 30 minutes to read Elisha's long ass paragraph messages. Most of them were funny since he would yell at himself while texting me realizing that I didn't have my phone at the time. Why is he so adorable? I got to use the bathroom till I heard a knock at the door. "Yes? Who is it?" No answer. "Yes?" I said again and still no answer. I shrugged it off and went to the bathroom. When I was about to "go" I heard the knock again. I sighed and opened the bathroom door. "What do you want? I'm trying to piss." I said annoyed but whoever it was clearly didn't care and continued knocking.

I stomped to the door and opened it to see that no one was there. "Nah we ain't gonna start this shit again!" I yelled "Lemme use the damn bathroom!" I shouted slamming the door and headed to the bathroom once again.

Once I was done washing my hands I heard laughter behind the room door. "Guys we need to stop this." Aiden groaned, "C'mon! We're just having fun!" Ashlynn laughed. "Using his hallucinations against him isn't fun it rude and disrespectful." It was quiet for a moment till they finally knocked again waiting for me to answer. "Yes?" "Could we come in? We're sorry for teasing you." Jacob said. His apologies are always sincere. I sighed and smiled. "Fine, come in." They all came in and gathered around and looked upset. "What's wrong?" They looked at each other then looked at me and looked at Jacob.

Jacob sighed and looked me straight in the eyes and said-

"Elisha's coronary artery disease has gotten worse."
