The School Cultural Festival Committee

(Ayanokoji POV)

The day had just begun and in the homeroom class Hikigaya was picked to be the male representative of our class for the upcoming cultural festival. He then started complaining upon waking up but had no luck against Hiratsuka sensei. Then it was time to pick the female representative for which the class president came forward.

Class president: So those girls who want to participate please come forward.

Apparently, no girl was raising her hand.

Class president: If this isn't decided then we will have to do rock paper scissors.

Yumiko: Huh.

Yumiko's remark and gaze made the class president flinch. She really has an amazing presence and after I told her to not be overly rude to others she has been better but she still won't stand down when it comes to things she won't agree with. It's fine though a strong personality is something that should stay with her as a useful trait.

Yuigahama: Is it really a lot of hard work?

Class president: Well it may be hard being a female representative this time around.

Sagami: I think you should do it Yui, two nice friends together planning such an event it would be a great time.

Yuigahama: I told you were not like that.

Hayato: So what you are saying is that we need someone popular but also has good leadership skills.

Tobe: Then I think Sagami should do it.

Hayato: Yeah I think that's a great idea.

Sagami: What me! no way I don't think I can do it.

She seemed a little too happy while rejecting that offer. I was taught how to read people and could see through this facade.

Hayato: C, mon pretty please.

Sagami: Well if no one else is taking the role then I guess I have to do it.

After that class was suspended and Hikigaya and Sagami went to the meeting room. Then Hayato called me near Yumiko's desk where the rest of his clique members were gathered.

Hayato: Kiyotaka what do you plan to do for this cultural festival?

Ayanokoji: Is it required for every student to participate?

Hayato: Well no but you should try something it will be pretty fun.

Ayanokoji: I see, what do you guys have in mind?

Ebina: Oh oh let me tell I am thinking of this awesome BL play-.

Yumiko: Yeah yeah enough of that. Well, I thought of doing some band songs.

Yuigahama: I can do the vocals if you want.

Yumiko: Thanks that would be a big help.

Tobe: Well we should do a class play as well.

Hayato: Well just let me know if you are interested to join anything Kiyotaka.

Ayanokoji: Sure.

Then Yuigahama told me to come with her to see Hikigaya as the meeting for the festival's committee has ended. There we saw Yukinoshita who too had joined the committee. After that, we all sat in our clubroom.

Yuigahama: It did surprise me that you joined the festival committee.

Yukinoshita: Well I can see why. Personally, I was more surprised to see him join.

Hikigaya: I was just forced into joining remember?

Ayanokoji: Wasn't it your own fault for sleeping in the homeroom period?
