Ayanokouji in Oregairu

The Sports Festival

I went back to my apartment to prepare the dinner. While I did have most of the ingredients it was helpful to have Hikigaya but the rest, I started cooking almost immediately because I have decided on the dish, after some time Hikigaya reached the entrance for which I got a call from the security guards on the intercom. I allowed him in then opened the door.

Hikigaya: Guess you weren't lying when you said you lived in an apartment similar to Yukinoshita. The economic inequality truly is evil but not as much as youth.

Komachi: Onii chan stop that! Hello Ayanokoji san thank you for inviting us over.

Ayanokoji: Sure come on in.

Komachi: Woah it's so spacious. Is that a home bar? Your parents have such mature tastes.

Ayanokoji: I live alone my parents live away from me.

Komachi: Woah that is why you are so mature.

The bar inside my apartment does have a lavish appearance. It contains many spirits such as whiskey, wines, vodkas and traditional ones such as sake.

Ayanokoji: Here you can sit at the dining table.

The bell once again rang so I went to see my expected guests. I told the guards in the previous call that I was also expecting 2 girls wearing the same school uniforms as me.

Yuigahama: Yahallo Ayanon thanks for the invite.

Yukinoshita: Good evening Ayanokoji kun thank you for inviting me as well.

Ayanokoji: Sure come in.

Yuigahama: Woah what a nice place. Wait you have a bar at home.

Ayanokoji: It was brought by my parents when we lived together. I live alone these days.

Yuigahama: Do you drink.

I never really had a reason to do so unlike with Kawasaki where I had to gain her trust in order to avoid her hostility. But a simple answer will do here.

Ayanokoji: I am underaged so I should avoid the consumption of alcohol.

Yukinoshita: As expected from Ayanokoji kun. Not only is it against the law, consumption of alcohol is also injurious to health. But speaking of law there are some people who may resort to unlawful behaviour.

She says this while looking at Hikigaya.

Komachi: Yuigahama san , Yukinoshita san Yahallo.

After finishing there greetings I went back to the kitchen to finish the cooking. Then I decided to bring out the dish.

Ayanokoji: Sorry for the wait.

Yuigahama: It's Katsu curry. Hmm this is awesome so tasty.

Hikigaya: You really can cook well.

Yuigahama and Hikigaya start devouring the food and Yukinoshita as well takes a bite.

Yukinoshita: The curry is well spiced and goes along well with the texture of the katsu. I truly am impressed Ayanokoji kun. But how did you get rid of the greasyness of the katsu.

Ayanokoji: I placed the cutlet in cold oil first then let the temperature rise. Then instantly turned up the heat to crisp the batter.

Yuigahama: Wow I didn't get any of that but you are amazing.

Yukinoshita: Well Ayanokoji kun what do your parents do.

I was merely mixing truths with lies, while it is true that I know about my father being a politician I have no knowledge about my mother but I needed to refrain from telling them this so I told the most normal thing that I could think of.
