Anniversary (Crawford)

Fluttering your eyes open from a peaceful sleep, the smell of bacon instantly hits your nose. You pull yourself out of bed and down the stairs to the kitchen. You stayed over at your boyfriends house last night. You two stayed up until two in the morning watching movies.
As you made it to the kitchen of Crawford's house, you opened the kitchen door and the smell of bacon hits you even harder. You looked at the table and noticed all the different things that were prepared. The table was filled with strawberry pancakes stacked, a pile of bacon, scrambled eggs, fruits, toast, and bagels. Just the sight had your mouth watering, but you noticed that most of the breakfast foods were your favorite. Like the strawberry pancakes.
You noticed that Crawford was head deep in the refrigerator, but he hasn't noticed you yet. Before he got the chance to turn around you sneaked back upstairs to make a call. Today was Crawford and your's one year anniversary and you planned out something special for him. You brought him 3 new beanies, 2 SnapBacks, a pair of Nike's, and two tickets to a drake concert. Sure it was a lot of money but you wanted to show him that you really love him.
Once you made it upstairs and to your phone you quickly dial Chris's number. After about five rings he answered.

"Yo."

Rolling your eyes at his greeting line you laugh.

"Is everything ready?" You asked him as you heard him move around.

"Yea. Do you want me to bring it now?"

"That would be lovely." You answered as a smiled crept on your face.

"I'll see you in about five to ten minutes." He said as he hung up. You placed your phone back down on the bedside table and smiled. Knowing that everything was going well so far made you happy.

"What is it that got you so happy?" You heard Crawford asked. You turned around and smiled at him. You skipped over to him and wrapped your arms around his neck.

"That I've been in love with my best friend for a year now." You whispered in his ear and then kissed his cheek. He smiled as he pulled you into a hug, you resting your head on his chest.

"Happy Anniversary baby girl." He said into your hair and kissed the top of your head. You smiled up at him then placed a soft kiss to his lips. You felt him smile which made you smile and laugh. You pulled away and looked up at him again.

"Now I have a lot of food we have to eat before we start our day babe." He said as he dragged you down the stairs behind him.
You both entered the kitchen and you didn't realize how hungry you were until you got into the kitchen.

The two of you sat in the kitchen for five minutes eating and talking about nothing until the front door bell rung.

"Oh I got it." You said quickly and running out of the kitchen to the door. You opened it and came face-to-face with a smiling Chris.

"Here you go and the tickets are inside the bag." He said while passing you the bag of stuff you brought Crawford.

"Could you be any louder?"

"I actually could be." He said with a small laugh.

"Hey babe who's at the door?" You heard Crawford said as the kitchen door opened. Quickly you said sorry to Chris and shut the door.

"No one." You said while turning around to face him.

"It sounded like Chris."

"Ha no why would it be Chris?" You laugh nervously while walking over to him with the bag behind your back.

"Quit being awkwardly cute. What's in the bag?"

"It's your present." You said while walking to the living room and plopping down on the couch. You heard him whisper he would be back as he made his way upstairs.
A few minutes later he came back downstairs with a small jewelry bag. You noticed it was from that Jewelry store from down the street.

"Okay I'll go first." He said while sitting beside you on the couch and placing the bag in your lap. You looked down at it and then back up at him as he tossed you a smile. You looked back at the bag and started to open it. Inside sat a little box that had the words "to Nataly" on the top. You took the box out and noticed that the long, slim box has paper sticking out of it. You flipped the box opened and saw they were two plane tickets. Also under the tickets was a diamond studded silver bracelet that you were looking at in that store the other week. You noticed that Crawford got the both of yours initials carved into it.

"Oh My God. This is beautiful Crawford." You said as you placed the bracelet beside the tickets then picking up the tickets.

"Where are these for?" You asked him.

"Well those are for the trip to Paris we're taking next week." He said with a smile. Your jaw dropped and eyes widen.

"Y-You're joking."
He shook his head which made you jump on him and kiss him. He laughed as you removed yourself off of him.

"Okay okay my turn." You said as you passed him the bag. You watched as his lite up as he looked at each item in the bag.

"Wow babe these are so cool and the tickets for the concert I can't wait." You smiled as he place a kiss on your temple.

"But baby knowing that your mine and I can come home to you is probably the best gift of all. I love you so much." He said while wrapping his arms around you.

"I love you too babe."
