neteyam's big brother instinct wasted no time diving into the water with zero hesitation after his brother. we all dived into the water echoing for our ilu's as we swam swiftly through the water. we saw lo'ak in the distance come up to the surface, which im assuming was to catch his breath. "come back!" i shouted from a pretty far distance from where lo'ak was.
i noticed lo'ak was looking at someone causing him to make his ilu swim faster. it was tuk and kiri "look it's lo'ak!" young tuk squealed while lo'ak simply just looked at them and passed them. "he's going to find payakan!" neteyam shouted catching up to kiri while we followed. without waiting for an answer neteyam dived into the water. "wait up!" kiri said following us holding onto tuk. at one point i looked over at tuk to see her enjoying how fast we were going. she was just so happy to be there even though she was unaware of the situation at the time, she still seemed glad to be involved.
a familar noise made the water that surrounded us vibrate. "payakan! Brother!" lo'ak called swimming to the top to the surface. "Lo'ak!" neteyam screamed diving out the water and diving back in to occur more speed. "Wait" me and tsireya added leaping in and out the water as our ilu's squealed. me. the more i looked the more realized, payakan was hurt... i don't think i could get the face of how scared lo'ak was out of my head.
