Chapter 7

Alex's POV

Its been almost a week since Caiden came to live with us. It has been one amazing week. Me and Caiden still weren't "together" yet, but I could tell that was going to change soon.

For example maybe five days ago...

*Flashback*

I was stood in the kitchen with my back facing the door, leaning over the back of one of the stools, just looking at some homework. Suddenly, two hands clamped down on my hips and pulled me backwards into a hard chest. Lips descended on my neck, I moved my arm and snaked it round the back of Caiden's neck, pulling him closer to me.

When I felt his teeth scrape my neck I pulled away from him, I didn't need any more love bites to hide. It was almost impossible to hide, especially with Katie and Justin wanting to make sure that I wasn't in any form broken when I went back to school the next day. Quite literally they had tried to strip me to see if I had any bruises...

"Why'd you pull away?" He asked me looking slightly hurt. I immediately rushed to him and pulled him into my arms. "I just don't need anymore marks I can't explain or hide" He nodded and hugged me tightly. "I just need you" he whispered suggestively into my ear. I blushed red and looked up at me "We aren't even together..." I trailed off then walked away making sure to move my hips slightly. He sighed of frustrated causing a small chuckle to leave my lips.

*Flashback Over*

I just wanted to call him mine but he wasn't ready yet. Anyway today is a Monday and the day that Caiden is going to tell JD and Connor that he likes me. I actually love those boys they are kind and sweet... They also figured out that I was gay. They accept me and Caiden which makes me really happy. knowing that the three main jocks accept me, well with one of them being gay that does kinda make sense. My parents absolutely love Caiden, he fits right in with us, although he is always back quite late due to all his sports practices. Since we don't have a spare room he has to stay with me. I'm not saying this to sound creepy or anything but I loved how calm he was in my room. It was like he had been living there for years.

We got to school, I trailed behind Caiden until he found JD and Connor. He motioned for them to follow him, before he could leave I grabbed his wrist and pulled him down so I could whisper in his ear. "Good luck" I made sure that my lips brushed the shell of his ear softly while whispering. I heard his intake of breath causing a silent chuckle to leave my lips.

Right, I better go find my friends so they don't worry. I walked over to the spot we normally meet at and noticed them sat underneath the large oak tree. I ran over to them and plopped myself down into Justin's lap. A large smile covered his face as he cuddled me close to him. "Alex, we've missed you" He whined and pulled me closer so I couldn't run off. I would never say this out loud but I have always been closer to Justin than I have to Katie, I don't know why. I just was, we had more in common then me and Katie did. She didn't share any likes of mine or his for that matter.

Anyway. I was curled up in Justin's lap until the bell rang. As I was heading to my first lesson a hand landed on each of my shoulders. I froze and turned but relaxed slightly when I saw JD and Connor. "So you seemed to have captured the heart of a our captain." JD told me with a smile on his face, I however went bright red. "Aww, I can see why he likes you. Your adorable."  Connor said while chuckling. If it was even possible my face went even brighter. They chuckled. "Well, we approve, but do anything to hurt our best friend and I will make your life hell. Do you understand me?" Connors voice and face suddenly became extremely frightening. I shrunk back out habit. Connor noticed this and almost immediately the angry look was replaced with one of guilt. "Sorry, I really didn't mean to scare you. I just don't want him getting hurt. He's like the brother I wanted but never had." I nodded, still slightly afraid. "well, we're here see you in a bit Alex." With that they walked into their classroom shutting the door behind them. I continued down to my class and took my place at the back of the room next to the window. I have a thing about people. I dislike them. Very much so. I literally only like Justin, Katie, Caiden and my family. With the acceptation of possibly JD and Connor.
