Chapter 3

My ideas for Connor. On the side

Caiden's POV

Once we reached JD's house he jumped out of my car and signaled for me to wait a few minutes for him, I nodded and he unlocked his door then ran inside. I really don't know how to tell him this. Maybe I'll tell him after swim practice. What if he tells everyone and they hate me? What if he hates me and starts acting weird around me? I can't lose one of my best friends. Shit. What about Connor? Maybe when I tell JD we can sykpe him and he can hear it that way.

As I was in the middle of my conversation with myself I felt a sharp pain in the side of my face. I broke out of my trance and turned to see JD looking at me innocently. "What did you do?" He smiled sheepishly and said "I kinda slapped you in the face" I narrowed my eyes at him and he continued looking quite scared. "Only because when I got into the car you looked spaced out, I tried to get through to you but you just completely ignored me so I poked you a few times but you were unresponsive so I slapped you, it worked so I think I did okay!" He was defending himself.

I chuckled a bit. I knew he was a little scared of me. "Thanks dude, Come on let's get back to my house. By the way why did you wanna chat again?" I'm going to play oblivious. He gave me a look that said 'Are-you-for-real'. I shrugged and he sighed. "We are gonna talk about why you broke up with Kaitlan and why it took you so bloody long to do so." I chuckled and nodded. "When we talk about it though I want to skype Connor so he can be apart of this, you are both my best friends you both deserve answers" He nodded then looked out of the window

20 minutes later

I pulled up onto my drive way and looked at my car clock before turning off the engine. 3:56pm. We had about 5 minutes before we had to get back to school.

JD dropped his stuff in my room while I stayed in my car. Once he was back I pulled out of my driveway and drove down the street. When we arrived at school we both hopped out of the car and ran to the boys changing rooms. Not wanting to be late, because if we were then the coach wouldn't be all too pleased.

We entered the changing rooms and ran straight to our lockers getting into our swim kit, then out to the pool. where the coach was. He looked at us and smiled "Okay now that everyone is here the practice begins. I want you to race round the pool. First one back wins. 3 laps. off you go"

after an hour and a half of swimming we were allowed to get changed. Once dried and changed I grabbed Connors elbow and pulled him aside. "Let go what the actual fu- oh hey Caid"

I rolled my eyes "When you get back to your house go on skype. I need to tell you and JD something." he nodded then ran off. Strange Boy. A hand clamped onto my shoulder and the voice of JD filled my ears. "You ready bro?" I nodded and we made the way over to my car.

To say that I'm nervous would be the understatement of the century.

15 minutes later we arrived back at my house. "Hey Mum me and JD are back." We heard a small crash then my mum came running down the hall way. My mum is the strangest woman you will ever meet. She has crazy brown hair and vibrant green eyes. But her personality is the best. She acts like my best friend not t my mum. She is majorly religious though. So I don't think that I should come out to either her or my dad. She ran towards us yelling "JD" and pulling him into a hug. My mum absolutely loves JD.

JD sent me a look that said 'get-her-off-of-me-NOW'. I chuckled and went to my mum and gently grabbed hold of her shoulders and pulled her away from JD and yelled run. He didn't hesitate and bolted up the stairs and into my room. I let go of my mums sholders and followed his example locking my door then leanong against it once I had reached safety. Chuckling I turned to see JD curled up in a small ball clinging to it for dear life, trying not to blaugh I grabbed my phone out of my back pocket, pulled up the camera app snapped a few photos then said "These are so going on facbook". JD's head snapped up so fast I could barely see it but i could deffinately hear the click of his neck, I winced slightly while he glared at me. "Your mother is a very scary person you know that?" I chuckled at his expence.

"So are you gonna set up skype then cause you need to talk to us?" JD asked suddently curious. I took deep breath and turned my laptop on, logged in waited for it to load up. I felt my heardmy bed creak, turning back I saw JD walking over to me. He stood behind me and looked at my computer screen.

I clicked on the Skype icon once it had finished loading then waited for that to load... So much waiting... Ughhhhh.

Once that had finished loading I saw that Connor was online so I called him and waited for him to pick up.

Once he had I told JD to stand by the computer so I could look at the both of them. "So dude why did you finally break up with Kaitlan?" Connor asked. Do i just go for it? Might as well. It can only go two ways.

Taking a well needed deep breath I looked up and stared JD in the eye before doing the same to Connor before looking to the ground.

"I'm Gay"

Alex's POV

Once my dad pulled up outside our house I jumped out the car, shutting it gently then walking up to the front door. I slipped my key out then proceeded to unlock the door. I shrugged my backpack off my shoulders and slid my shoes off. I tried to run upstairs but was unsuccesful as I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned and came face to face with my mother who gasped as she saw my face. She timidly reached up and gentley brushed her hand acrossacross the bridge of my nose making me wince. "Honey what happened? Are you being bullieed? Do you need to go the hospital? Do I need to phone the pol-" "MUM! I'm fine it was just an accident. It was my new friend acctually. He was going out of the school building the same time I was about to open the door and it slammed strsight into my face. As soon as he had seen what he had done he literally dragged me to the nurse who checked it over and said it wasn't broken just bruised and should heal fine" After I had given her this infirmation my mother had calmed down considerably.

"As long as your okay." was all that was said. I nodded and took that as my cue to leave. Turning I ran upstairs to my room and locked the door. Today has been a long day.

* The next morning *

I woke to my to a loud banging noise.

I looked over to my window and saw flashes of light... Fireworks.

I lay back on my bed and sighed deeply then tilted my head backwards to look at my clock which was on my bed side table. It was upside down... OH I was upside down. BLONDE MOMENT! 4.30pm.

Well I have ages to kill before I can get out of bed with out it being wierd.

What can I do?

UMMM. Well I do have homework. Nope I think not. I could watch films? Nadda. YOUTUBE! Definately.

I went over to my desk which was in the corner of my room. Do I want to go to my bed or stay at my desk? Bed.

I unplugged my laptop and went back over to my bed placed my laptop in the centre of my massive double bed then climbed on and sat with my back resting against the headrest. I had two pillows against the headrest to make it comfier. When my laptop loaded I got my headphones that were on my bedside table and plugged them in.

Who to watch? I decided on watching Dan and Phil. They are totally amazing and super awkward... Like me. Except him not awesome just super awkward. And here I go again.

Two and a half hours later I put my laptop away got out if bed then sluggishly wandered over to the bathroom to take a shower. Showers are the favourite part of my day, I don't know why. They just are.

Once I was finished I stepped out and wrapped a towel round my hips and the walked a little but more enthusiastically back to my room. I went over to my wardrobe and pulled out the clothes I was going to wear. I put the clothes on and went back to the bathroom and did my teeth then did my hair.

I ran down to the kitchen to see my mother place a plate of pancakes infron of the space I usually sit in, smiling I walked over to her and kissed her cheek then sat down and ate. Once i was done I put my plate in the sink. And went to school.
