I never thought I would....

Chapter 16

JD's POV

Damn poor Caiden. Id kill anyone keeping that from me but then again Caiden's not me.
After he told us about what happened to CC we offered to take him to the city centre to get some food and just go and find somewhere to chill... which he gratefully accepted. Easy way to get him to agree to anything, just mention food.
We made out way to the bus and sat waiting for it to arrive, once it had we all paid our fare and headed to the free seats at the back of the bus. Caiden was playing with his phone, me being the nosey person I am leaned over his shoulder and saw who he was texting, Alex, as per. They're cute. Caiden was just telling Alex that we had dragged him into town... rude. Alex had replied and told him to have fun and to get him some food for their movie date later. Literally the cutest.
When we arrived we headed to the food court to see what we all wanted. In the end after like 20 minutes of deliberation we all ended up with some kind of food; I'd gone with KFC, Connor decided on a subway while Caiden went with fish and chips. We headed around to try and find a table in the crowded food court, I think the entire town is here... not even joking its packed. After 5 minutes of endless wandering we watched as a cute old couple started to pack their stuff up, I nudged Caiden and pointed him in that direction, once the old couple had left we quickly made our way to the table and slammed our trays down before someone else tried to take it. We all ate our food in silence, normally were joking about while eating but this time we were all silent. It wasn't an awkward silence or anything like that so it was quite nice. Once we'd finished we walked around the shops for a few hours, me buying a few new shirts and a new pair of vans, Connor just buying a new game while Caiden went back to the food court to take food back for Alex and their movie night.

After the joyous bus jorney home, i say joyous but i mean the complete opposite - as its raining and cold - we went back to Caiden's, once we walked through the door Caiden was attaked by a flying Alex, I think someone missed their boy. It was cute. Me and connor left the love birds in the hall and made our way into the living room where their were two figures sitting on the sofa, one very large indiviual who I recognised as Alex's best friend Justin and the other was familliar but I couldnt place a name to him. He was kinda cute, I looked at him perplexed trying to fugure out where i new him from, I think he felt my eyes because the next second he'd surned his head to look at me, once i locked my gaze with his bright blue eyes i was almost speachless, his eyes were absoluely incredible.

"Hey man, sorry i didnt notice you there, I'm Ayden, Alex's brother" he said his voice was deep and masculine, he stood and i then only noticed he was also quite a big guy, nice amount of muscle by the looks of it, He extended his hand and I quickly compsoed myself before reaching over and introducing myself. He smiled at me and my heart nearly stopped, he looking so incredible smiling. Trying to look calm I smiled back before walking into the kitchen to graba drink, a minute later I heard footsteps walking over in my direction so I turned around and saw my favourite ginger "You okay mate?" he asked looking concerned. I let out a small sigh and nodded before saying "Just tired I think, been a long day" he nodded in understanding. "I feel you mate, its been awful, cant wait to sleep later"

"Speaking of sleeping, you guys want to stop?"Caiden asked over his shoulder as he walked into the kitchen with Alex behind him. "You sure mate? i thought you and alex were having a moive night?" Connor questioned. Cauden nodded "We were but Ayden doesn't like being away from Alex for too long and his parents just say nasty stuff about him all day so i offered for him to stop tonight. Justin is staying too isnt he?" Alex nodded " You know how he is" we all nodded in agreement. "So youre stopping yeah? I didn't bring enough food so were gonna order a pizza if you have any preferences" came Caidens voice from the fridge. Me and Connor simultainously screamed pizza hut at the top of our lungs making Alex jump, "Sorry Alex, but yeah pizza hut adn do you even have to ask what were gonna have?"
