Shen Qingqiu looked with disgust upon the memories he received. The man moving his body made him feel sick. He was so sickeningly friendly.
That child he had recently taken in as an apprentice was even worse. He could find no better words to call him then naive and delusional. Not even able to realize that the man in front of him was an impostor. Happily running after him. He looked at him expectingly even though the same body had strung him up and whipped him just a month ago.
Shen Qingqiu couldn't understand that brat. This Luo Binghe ignored every single grievance, holding to mere vapor of kindness like a lifeline, following his own abuser around like a chick after its mother.
The feelings this brought Shen Qingqiu were complicated. He admitted he disliked that child. He never lied about his dislike towards children with a good aptitude. He also knew that he had not been a good teacher toward that kid, so it was not surprising that he couldn't understand just how Luo Binghe had come to trust him this swiftly.
He still remembered the hatred he had felt toward the Qiu family when he had been subjected to the same treatment. He never would have thought that anyone could be like that desciple that resembled a little white lamb.
Shen Qingqiu followed the situation in what appeared to be a dream realm. He watched that thief who pretended to be him ask Yue Qingyuan for a leave to go cultivating. He puffed out a sarcastic laugh as he saw the hesitation on his Shixiongs face. As expected. He wouldn't think well of his Shidi trying to become stronger.
I knew it, after all, there's no good in this world, Shen Qingqiu thought, everyone who pretends they are good are nothing but liars with ulterior motives. He clutched his folding fan as he followed his double to Ling Xi Caves.
As he saw the other save Liu Qingge from a Qi deviation and even trying to befriend him, he could help his shoulders from shaking from laughter.
"As if that bastard would be thankful for being saved! Hahahaha, look at him! That guy never liked me. Grow up."
He enjoyed being able to finally say his mind as he was alone. Yes. He didn't expect Liu Qingge to show a single drop of thankfulness.
He found it comical, remembering how Shang Qinghua had once told him not to interfere with anyone who had Qi deviation. As if the other had know this would happen.
The scenery changed and now he was standing in front of Qiong Ding Hall. He witnessed the man he'd been following rush in front of the brat and getting hurt in the process. When Shen Qingqiu learned what had hurt the other he tried very hard to suppress the urge to rip that man to shreds. He knew this would only backfire, but his fury was unimaginable.
This man had just ruined entirely the only thing important to Shen Qingqiu. His cultivation. His hatred towards Shen Yuan grew in intensity.
What happened next made him forget his anger. Liu Qingge had just...saved him? Has that man also been replaced? He would never...
But as he heard his Shidi say, this had only been repayment for being helped earlier it dawned on him that he'd been wrong. That was Liu Qingge. But how? There'd only ever been hatred between them. Why would he save him? Why?
After he witnessed the appologietic trio in the bamboo house each blaming themselves he felt like he couldn't go on. Who was lying? Who said the truth? Did anyone really mean what they said? Did Yue Qingyuan really worry or was it pretense?
Shen Qingqiu's head began to hurt after all those pictures, but it wouldn't stop. He witnessed scene after scene of a loving Shizun taking care of his desciples and being practically worshipped. His body getting along with sect siblings he always had problems with.
