Red Hood sat at the head of the table. Feet up in a casual manor as his goons gave report. Charlie the head of the group by the docks was droning on and on. Hood was in fact the boss. He offered protection from the batman. Making him respected and feared. Protecting street kids was a major rule. Most money was made by stopping other gangs. Slowly Red Hood's territory was growing. People payed for protection. The gang kept an eye out for drugs and weapons. Despite what batman thinks Red Hoods methods were working. Even as Jason and Bruce came back into an agreement. Jason wouldn't kill and Bruce would leave him be as long as he would stop by more often.Charlie was nearing the end of his detailed report when Red Robin crashed through a window in the warehouse. Hood was up in a second automatically in a fighting position. Jason's stance relaxed as soon as he realized it was just Tim. Hood rolled his eyes not that anyone could see before glaring at Red Robin.
Red Robin ran right to Red Hood and grabbed his shoulders. " Hood I'll give you my dessert if you let me hide? Please?" Red Robin asked while shaking his shoulders in an annoying way. "What did you do?" Hood asked his voice extra intimidating because of the modulator in the helmet. Not that red robin seemed to care. Red Robin climbed under the table while telling hood that he put glitter in the vents of the bat-mobile. Red hood let out a laugh before responding "Sure Red but ya better hope Agent A made cookies for dessert. "
Hood casually sat back down before gesturing to James to start his report. If he noticed the gobsmacked faces around him he didn't show it. After a few minutes James did start his report knowing that you don't argue with Red Hood.
Halfway through the report a very glitter covered batman came through the same window as red Robin. He did not look happy. The goons all jumped from their seats joining red robin under the table. Hood lazily stood. "Whatcha need old man?" Hood drawled out. Batman huffed out his reply "Red Robin." Red Hood snorted. "Didn't see him sorry old man." Hood says casually.
Batman narrowed his eyes in suspicion. The goons under the table gulped in fear even as their leader still stood confidently.
No one expected what happened next. Batman easily wrapped Red Hood in a hug. Red Hood let out an awkward squawk not expecting a hug or to be covered in glitter.
Nightwing came through the window next shouting "What Hood gets a hug but not me!!!" Nightwing flipped down to join the hug not caring about the glitter. Red Robin upon hearing about a hug crawled out from under the table. The teen knew that initiating a hug was rare especially for the emotionally constipated man. He ran to also join the hug not caring about the glitter.
Batman lets out a chuckle as his other two sons joined the hug. He knew Hood was lying and decided to hug him to cover him in glitter as well. Nightwing joining was a surprise considering Batman thought he was in Büdahaven. Red Robin joining was just solidifying that he knew Red Hood was lying.
Batman smiled he loved his children. Hood grumbled. His children loved messing with him he just returns the favor sometimes. Hood is going to have a fun time explaining this to his gang.
