The crew parked in the Boardwalk parking lot, and Leo did not want to leave his precious new vehicle. "Okay, so... what now?" Nico asked. "You speak to your father in the water, and he gets us a speedboat?"
"It's not that easy... Neeks," Percy blushed, looking at the ocean as they walked toward it... he hadn't talked to his father in a while. He had been pretty busy in New Rome. Nico shared the same discomfort as Percy. He grabbed the taller man's hand and hid slightly behind him as they stepped onto the beach. Percy blushed, looking down at Nico, then to an angry Jason and a concerned Leo.
"Do you need some time?" Leo asked Percy if he would like privacy to talk to his father. He shook his head and closed his eyes.
"Father... I know I haven't spoken to you in a while... but we need help, the world needs help-"
"Perse..." Nico said.
"Although... I am the son, and I shouldn't be the one to initiate our relationship...." Percy grew hot.
"Percy," Jason patted him on the back.
"And you are quite literally a fucking god! You have the power to stop some of the natural disasters! But no... you and all the fucking gods always have to rely on your Demi-gods to save the day and take credit at the end,"
"Percy!" Grover shook him.
"What?" Percy spat, then followed Grover's pointing. Triton was a couple of feet away in the waves for them... his father had already sent help to meet them at the beach.
"Percy..." Triton gave him a nod,
"Triton..." Percy flushed red.
"Welcome, Percy and Friends... Nico," Triton looked at him like he was fucking him with his eyes. Nico flushed and looked down at his shoes as Jason clenched his fists at his sides.
"Father has sent me to guide you to the Castle. The storm will soon be over it, and that will be your time to strike. The Kingdom will help you as much as they can, but they will not leave the kingdom," he explained, then looked to Percy.
"For your information, Father is not allowed to interfere in Mortal problems... everything that is going on now is their doing...." Triton quipped.
"Hi, um..." Nico spoke before Percy could fight back with his words and piss off their tour guide more, "How... exactly are we going to make it to the Underwater Kingdom?" Nico asked. Under the water, Triton's tail split into legs.
