They don't let us out till the next morning. I am helping paint the boat for the poe cup race. because Enid asked for my help beating Bianca, so that she will not win again. I am going to cast a spell on our boat and help us move quickly by moving the water.
After break I head to my next class. I walk into the green house and sit behind Xavier with Enid. Bianca and Wednesday argue a bit about flowers but I zone out thinking about my date in two days. I'm so excited to wear my new outfit and spend time with Tyler. I've liked him forever.
After my last class I head into Jericho. I enter The Weathervane and order my hot chocolate. Then I sit down at my normal booth and start my homework. Tyler comes over and sits across from me.
"What are you working on?" he asks me.
"I have a project for potions class due in two days and I haven't started it. I have to make a new potion so I'm making lists of ingredients I could possibly use."
"Wow. You know I always forget you're a witch but, I guess it's good that I don't mind." he smiles and winks at me.
"And sometimes I forget you're a normie." I laugh.
He looks a bit uneasy but I brush it off and explain how the potion works. After a few minutes he has moved over next to me and we are pretty close. Suddenly his dad, the sheriff, walks in and Tyler jumps up.
"I got your order ready, Dad" He hands him his coffee and the sheriff looks at me with an eyebrow up.
"Sorry about that," Tyler says.
"No, it's okay," I smile faintly. "I have to get back anyway. Bye, Tyler."
"Bye, Victoria. See you tomorrow."
