Chapter 16

Gabi looked back up at the ship and pulled the trigger on the gear, pulling her and Lobov's bodies up. Falco gasped and quickly rushed to her, making Colt stop running and screamed. "Falco!"

Falco wrapped his arms around Gabi's right leg and then grabbed Lobov's body as the two were sent flying. Gabi gasped seeing him with her. "Falco?! Why?!"

"The one who should inherit the Armored Titan... is me!"

"Huh?!" Gabi just stared at him, puzzled by his words until Lobov's body hit the ship, making the two kids let out an oof from the impact. Hearing this noise, inside, Sasha, who was standing by Jean and Connie and listening to Floch and the Scouts cheer, turned her head over her left shoulder and looked at the open entrance.

"Did you hear a sound just now?" she asked Jean, making him look down at her and then turned to everyone.

"Hey! Quiet down!" he shouted, walking to them while Floch ignored his words and continued to triumph.

"Make some noise! Victory!" The Scout's screams rose after that, unaware that Gabi was slowly getting on board.

"Hey!" Jean groaned as Connie leaned over to him.

"Isn't Lobov still out there?"

Jean looked down at him. "No, I think he came aboard."

Gabi had pulled herself up at the ship and rolled in, which made Jean look over with wide eyes and saw Gabi, who kneeled on one knee and aimed her rifle at them. She fired the bullet and it hit a Scout in the left chest, they turned to see that the one who got hit is no other than Eren, who pushed Sasha out of the way.

The Scout's eyes shrank and they all stared at Gabi with wide eyes while Eren was trying to take in breaths while choking up, his body stumbled until she fell to the ground. Jean and Connie stared in disbelief at her body along with Gabi was surprised at the events.

"Your highness!" The scouts were showing worried, and Sasha gasped, "The bullet was going to hit me..."

"I'm fine... just let me recover..." Eren said, and it caused Gabi snap back to the situation and went to reload her rifle. Falco was making his way on board as Jean turned his head down at her with fury in his eyes. She aimed the gun at him, along with Jean. At the same, the two pulled the trigger until Falco hurried his way and pushed Gabi down, merely missing her along with her bullet missing Jean by a few inches.

Gabi and Falco groaned until they heard the angered screams of the Scouts rushing to them, enraged. They then began to beat the kids up, blood spewing out of them from their harsh punches, stomps, and kicks. "You bastards! That's our king!" Floch screamed as Gabi's rifle got kicked to the side. Jean just stared at the crowd beating the kids up, his teeth clenched together.

"Ereh! Are you okay?" This time, Mikasa rushes toward him with Armin and Annie following, Eren coughed a little and said, "You guys are so damn loud..."

"He'll be fine... he could heal himself with the Titan power. But who did this?" Armin asked.

Soon enough, the Scouts had finished their beating with Gabi and Falco. Floch grabbed the two by their hair aggressively and made their way to Eren. "Your highness, they climbed aboard using Lobov's ODM gear." 

Eren said, "I know. To think you two would go this far." 

Eren lowered his hands and stared down at the kids. Falco had blood trailing down his mouth, one of his eyes half-lidded while the other was wide open all while Gabi had injuries around her face and winced every time Floch pulled her hair. "I'll toss them outside. All right?"

Eren said, "No, they are Eldians like us. They are not Marleyans. Just tie them up until we manage to get to Paradis."

In the building, where Koslow and Pieck still were, Magath made his way up the stairs, blood trailing down his head as he spotted Koslow tending to Pieck. Reiner was still unconscious. Magath searched after the kids but didn't find them. "What happened to Braun and Grice?"
