Clinging to the silence in the room, a woman hid behind a shelf in a closet, wearing a red bridal outfit. Her face, stained with tears and smudged mascara, revealed the signs of her incessant crying. She struggled to calm her racing heart, desperate to escape from the man of all her nightmares.
But fate had other plans. Footsteps approached the room, followed by the man's mocking laughter, filling the space.
"Oh, my love, you should have stayed in bed, waiting for me like a dutiful wife. But you never comply. That's what intrigues me about you. You're not the obedient woman you were expected to be. But don't worry, we have a whole lifetime to teach you," he sneered. "And today, I will show you the consequences of your defiance.", saying this he walked with determination, the sound of his steps echoing through the room. He opened the bathroom door and then closed it firmly. "Not here, huh?" he pondered aloud.
The footsteps drew closer to the walk-in closet, and he flung the door open.
Overwhelmed by fear, she pressed herself even tighter between the shelf and the wall.
"Love, where are you? I hate these hide-and-seek games. Come out, and I promise to lessen the punishment ," he declared, his footsteps getting closer and closer.
She closed her eyes tightly, praying to God with all her heart. But it seemed her pleas went unheard as she felt his fingers firmly grip her left wrist, violently pulling her from her hiding spot. In that jarring moment of shock, her dark eyes met his cold gray gaze. She caught a glimpse of malice in his eyes, and his next words shook her to her very core.
"My beautiful wife, do you desire force and punishment? Then allow me the honor."
