Rudraksh's Penthouse
He caressed her tender bosom, his eyes filled with desire. But Krishna's persistent squirming and resistance snapped him out of his trance.
"I can't wait to make you mine, my love. And it will happen sooner than you think," he whispered to her.
Krishna was in no state to listen to anything he said. She was being restrained and violated. Rudraksh covered her mouth and nose with a cloth soaked in chloroform. Her struggles weakened, along with her mental strength, until she was consumed by darkness.
Two hours later...
Krishna woke up from her forced slumber. As she looked around, she realized she was in Rudraksh's room, lying on his bed. Unlike before, her hands and feet were no longer bound, and the blindfold was gone. She found herself covered with a blanket up to her chin, relieved to find that her lower half was still clothed.
Underneath the blanket, she discovered that her upper body was naked. Alarmed, she quickly sat up, covering herself, and noticed her clothes on the table next to the bed. Her chest throbbed with pain, but she reached for her garments. Peering beneath the blanket, she was shocked to find a bandage covering her right bosom.
She touched the bandage, her determination to escape this wretched place growing stronger. She stepped into another door, leading to an en-suite bathroom. Standing in front of the mirror, she gently removed the bandage. What she saw brought tears of frustration to her eyes. Rudraksh Singhania had tattooed his name from the middle of her chest to her left breast. She splashed water on herself, discarding the bandage, and hastily put on her clothes.
After a few minutes, she stepped out of his room and hurried to the living room to retrieve her purse and leave. Unfortunately, she found Rudraksh sitting on the couch, engrossed in reading some files. Anger surged within her as she looked at his face, remembering how his hands violated her. She didn't want to engage with him right now; she just wanted to go home. And that's what she intended to do, ignoring his unbearable presence. She picked up her purse from the couch and prepared to depart.
"Sit down, Krishna," his voice reverberated in the spacious living room, his gaze still fixed on the folder. She paid no attention to his words, trying to walk past the couch. But his hand clasped around her arm, pulling her forcefully towards him. Her chest collided with his arm, causing her to cry out in pain and instinctively protect the bandaged area.
Rudraksh quickly made her sit upright and handed her a glass of water. "The wound will heal soon. Apply this ointment on it," he said, offering her a tube. She slapped his hand away, causing the tube to fall, and glared at him with angry eyes. Rudraksh restrained his anger but didn't appreciate her constant defiance. She was about to stand up again, but he held her firmly in place and handed her a document.
"Sign this," he ordered. Krishna glanced at the folder, reading its contents. After a few minutes, she threw the folder onto the table with such force that it flew onto the floor.
Rudraksh tightly gripped her already injured wrist, causing her to wince, but he didn't release his grip. "Sign this, or your brother will never see the light of day. I will make sure of it," he seethed.
He forcefully released her wrist, causing her to cradle it protectively against her chest.
"You claim to love me. Is this how you treat someone you love? My chest is hurting, my ankles and wrists bear the marks of the bindings and your tight grips. I feel violated, touched without consent, tossed around like an object, and forced into a degrading position. And now, this," she pointed to the file on the ground. "You expect me to marry you today. I agreed to this marriage to save my brother, to reconcile Aryan and Bhavya with their father, and to bring happiness to my sister-in-law. Is this how you intend to treat me? My desires, my career, my dreams, my life, and my goals mean nothing to you. You are trampling on my existence with your arbitrary rules. You are destroying me. You claim to love me, but I wonder if you love me or just my body. When you truly love someone, you love them for who they are, including their ambitions and quirks. Yet, you are trying to change the very essence of who I am by tattooing your name on me, as if I will become your possession. Never, and I mean never, will I love someone who doesn't love me for my true self."
Rudraksh listened attentively to every word she spoke. Her words made him realize that he was indeed altering her. He loved her for her spirit, her defiant gaze, and above all, her strength and resilience. And yet, here he was, stripping away all of that and reducing her to a mere shell of her true self. But this had always been the way of his family, and now it was his as well. How could he go against ingrained lessons from childhood? Some teachings were deeply rooted in his mind and hard to let go of.
"You will remain the person you are, but you will need to be mindful of your behavior in my presence. As your husband, you must learn to respect me and never defy me. Trust me, Krishna, and you will receive all the love you deserve from me. However, if you choose to go against me, be prepared to face the consequences."
"Sign these documents, and then we will be legally wedded. After that, you will come to this place every day and stay until evening. You will learn the ways of your new life, so that it will become easier for you to get along with everyone in the mansion."Rudraksh said.
"I refuse to do that. I am a doctor. I can't simply give up everything for your insignificant rules."
"Oh, about that, I already submitted your resignation. I decided to let you continue working until our official wedding, but you just had to ruin it for yourself. After rejecting my proposal today, I realized that you have a lot to learn. So, from today onwards, you will no longer be known as Dr. Krishna Sihag. Instead, you will be Krishna Rudraksh Singhania."replied Rudraksh.
Krishna couldn't comprehend his nonsense anymore and, in a fit of anger, she stepped towards him and slapped him hard across the face.
"Go to hell, you despicable person. Who gave you the right to interfere in my life? Being a doctor is my life, and you simply sent a resignation without consulting me. Mr. Singhania, you have no authority over me. As for being your wife, I reject it. Forget about the contract; I will not marry you and sacrifice my own life. I will find a way to save my brother. I don't need your help. In fact, you're the one who needs help.Get this fucked up brain of yours checked.", Krishna seethed out.
She turned around and quickly walked towards the door.
Rudraksh, who was still in shock from receiving his first-ever slap, snapped out of it and shouted,
"You will marry me, regardless of whether your brother is released from jail or not, but,if you step out of this apartment, your brother will not live to see another day."
