Back in Time (A Danganronpa Story)

The Beginning of The Game

Makoto's POV

We had just gotten to the gym, confusion fillings our minds as we stand there waiting for what is gonna welcome us.

Leon- "Fancy place they got."

Sayaka- "Where are all the other students?"

Mondo started to yell.

Mondo- "HEY! WHOEVER CALLED US HERE SHOW YOURSELF ALREADY!"

And just like that, he appeared. A white and black bear with a red eye suddenly appeared.

Monokuma.

Monokuma-" Hello Future Hope's Peak Academy Students! I am the headmaster, MONOKUMA!"

Hifumi- " I see, I see.... WHAAAAAAAAAAAA!?"

Chihiro- "A-a teddy bear..?"

Monokuma- "I'm not a teddy bear! I'M MONOKUMA, YOUR HEADMASTER!"

Celeste- "This is indeed weird.."

Ishimaru- "I-i'm sure it's just a toy!"

Monokuma- "I'm not! Jeez wants the deal!"

I couldn't stand hearing him again. I felt like punching him or something but I already know I'm not strong enough..

Monokuma- "Aaaaanyway! Let me tell you about the frickin ceremony shit now!"

As we listened to Monokuma talk we all had learned that we were stuck here and the only way out was to kill someone. Great.. After Monokuma left we all were stunned, scared and confused. I couldn't just stand there and be the scared wimpy guy I was in the past. I need to protect everyone. But someone spoke before I could.

Kyoko- "So? What are we gonna do now? Just stare at each other?"

Kiri... I'm happy to see her. But I don't think she knows about everything like I do..

Makoto- "She right.. we need to do something other than just be suspicious of each other."

Ishimaru- "Y-you two are right! I can't believe I forgot about something so important like that!"

I looked at Kiri. I could tell she was calmly thinking. After being around her for a few years I could tell what she was feeling sometimes. She is my best friend.

Kyoko- "We should start by looking around this place. So that we can figure out where exactly we are."

Everyone agreed.

Byakuya- "I'll be going alone."

Junko/Mukuro- "You think that's smart?"

Byakuya- "Unlike you all, I'm not oblivious to the fact that someone might be already planning to kill and I don't wanna be the first victim."

Typically Byakuya..

Mondo- "Of course someone like you is just this ridiculously stupid."

Byakuya seemed to get annoyed by that.

Byakuya- "Oh what,like your hair?"

Mondo- "THE FUCK YOU SAY?"

oh God here we go again...

Mondo- "oh you're just begging to get hurt!"

Byakuya- "I don't beg unlike you commen folk.."

Mondo- "THATS IT-"

Makoto- "G-guys! Stop!"

They both look down at me, glaring as they did. I forgot how powerful and scary they can be-

Mondo- "What are you trying to do?! Trying to be some "responsible student"!?"

Makoto- "No! That's-!" I knew what was coming up.

Mondo- "Fuck you!"

I tried to brace myself for impact. Mondo punched me.. never gets old I guess.. luckily I wasn't knocked out this time because I had braced myself. Though it still hurt a lot. I fell to the ground,  a mark on my face from Mondo's punch.

Mondo- "S-shit I-"

Sayaka- "M-makoto!" Sayaka ran to me kneeling down on the ground to see if I was ok. Ishimaru started scolding Mondo and Byakuya. And some of the other came to see if I was ok. I get up groaning in pain.

Makoto- "O-ow..."

Aoi- "Makoto! Are you ok?"

Makoto- "I.. I think so.. i-it just really hurts.."

Sakura- "Luckily you braced yourself in time or something worse could have happened.."

Makoto- "yeah.."

Sayaka hugged me. I was a bit taken aback but I soon hugged back. (Not a ship. Just friends 😭)

Sayaka- "A-are you sure you're ok? That was a hard punch.."

Makoto- "I'll be fine Sayaka... I know I'm not that strong but I'll be fine!"

Sayaka- "If you say so." She smiles slightly.

A bit later, I went into my dorm room to rest a bit as the others go investigate.
