Back in Time (A Danganronpa Story)

A Break Pt. 2

Me and Mukuro approach the bath house. We went in to see that Hiro and Chihiro had returned.

As soon as they saw us, both of them had a relived look on their face.

Chihiro: "Ah, Junko! I'm so glad you aren't hurt.." Chihiro approached Mukuro with a relived sigh.

Mukuro paused for a moment before giving Chihiro a big smile.

Junko(Mukuro): "Awww, were you worried about me? Hehe, don't worry, I'm fine. I just had to make a trip to my room, is all." Mukuro said as she let out a chuckle. It seems her persona of Junko returned.. Shame.. I'd really like to get to know her better.

Chihiro smiled in response, not questioning what Mukuro had to get. He just smiled, knowing she was ok.

Makoto: "The others not back yet?"

Yasuhiro: "They should be here anytime soon." Hiro said as he scratched the back of his head.

Junko(Mukuro): "Jeez, you guys got a whole search party for me?" She said in a joking manner.

Makoto: "Ahah, I suppose. It was just me, Hiro, Chihiro, Hifumi, Leon, and Sayaka."

Junko(Mukuro): "That's... a lot more people than I thought."

I let out a small laugh before the others had reentered the room.

Sayaka: "Junko! Thank God you're alright!" Sayaka exclaimed with relief as she ran up to Mukuro, giving her a hug.

Mukuro froze for a small moment, not expecting the sudden hug out of nowhere. She quickly got a hold of herself, returning to her fake persona.

Junko(Mukuro): "Alright, alright, jeez! I wasn't gone for that long!" She said as she tried to pry Sayaka off her.

I couldn't help but laugh at their shenanigans.

Hifumi: "I suppose this concludes our investigation!" Hifumi stated triumphantly as he placed his hands on his hips.

Leon: "Suppose so. Man... all that investigating got me real tired.."

Yasuhiro: "Eheh, same here, dude. Think I might head to my room for a bit to chillax."

Chihiro: "That sounds good.. I still need to process everything that happened today."

It seemed like everyone was done investigating for now. But should I really be taking a break when I know about things others don't..? I need to lay low, but..

Junko(Mukuro): "Hey, Makoto! I wanna talk to you for a moment." Mukuro said, interrupting my thoughts as she put her hand on my shoulder.

Makoto: "O-oh! Uhm, alright!" What could Mukuro want to talk about...?

Hiro looked over to the two of us with a look of uncertainty before shaking his head and giving me a smile.

Yasuhiro: "Have fun, you two." He said right before he left.

Strange.. what was that look for...? Never mind.

Everyone else left.. It was just me and Mukuro now. I don't know why, but... I feel a little on edge..
