Exercising in the old dusty gym, Damon was in the middle of doing sit ups in a tank-top and sweatpants when he felt a little off. Stopping for a moment, he pulled his collar down to show that his triskele tattoo was lightning up, and when that happens it usually means he would be tested in someway. The story as to how he got that tattoo began several years ago when he was away from the civilization. He approached a place where he thought he could find enlightenment, but instead became part of something greater; joining a place where those with great potential in spirituality are trained into reorienting themselves from body to soul. He showed promising results and was rewarded with the tattoo as both a symbol of his strength and as a badge of honor. Damon wasn't entirely sure what he was supposed to with the "gifts" he had earned after he had "graduated" from the "academy". But he was told that if he wanted the wholeness he sought , he must head back to where his heritage lies. One trail led to another, and soon, he found himself in metropolis, moving into a building a dust and stone. But he knew for sure that he was in the right place. He also knew that when his tattoo glows in a blinking motion, the "test" doesn't come automatically afterwards. It was a warning for to prepare himself.

Damon:"Alright then. Let's see what this city has in store for me."

Meanwhile, Kara and her friends were in Jessica Cruz' car, driving to the street where Damon's home address was said to be. It was a little unsettling, given how decrepit the roads, the sidewalks and the buildings were, like these places were due for demolition.

Jessica:"Kara, are you sure weren't going the right way?"

Kara:"Well, according to Damon's records at the school's office, his place is supposed to be here somewhere. But I've never even seen this side of the Metropolis."

Zee:"Wait, how did you get Damon's records?"

Kara:"Well...let's just say I did something I regretted doing."

Flashback to Kara paying Selina Kyle 10 dollars to steal to the records from the office.

Diana:"Whatever the case, we should be grateful of you to introduce us to your new friend, Kara. I'm sure we may all find his company most likable."

Kara:"Yeah, Damon seems like a chill dude. He even had my back when the teacher tried to get me in trouble."

Babs:"Is it true that he took on Doris in a fight?"

Kara:"Wasn't much a fight, but it was something to see."

Karen:"I didn't see much since he hid me in a vacant classroom."

Kara:"It was also pretty weird, considering he...gave a Doris a slap."

Diana:"So he's not against hitting a woman? I see."

Kara:"Not like across the face. More like...where the sun doesn't shine."

All the other girls began to blush with widened-eyes, except for Diana, since she was unaware of the meaning.

Diana:"Where is where-?"

Zee:"Don't ask."

Jessica:"Okay...and you're sure this guy is good to be around?"

Kara:"I just wanna see how he's doing. If he's not what he appears to be, then I don't see a reason to not kick his butt."

The girls all agreed on that statement. It was then that Jessica took a right turn and stopped at the sidewalk next to the old gym and Damon's home.

Kara:"Yeah, guys. I'm pretty sure this is it. You ready?"

Jessica:"As we'll ever be."

Diana:"Let us proceed."
