At Metropolis' Warehouse district, there was some sort of gathering happening in one of them. There were a bunch of youths, kids, teens, young adults, wearing ratty clothes and some were looking pale, even starved. They were at risk youths, as they were pulled off the streets when the city couldn't do anything for them, but they were still hungry. But that is when masked men, who were also armed and wearing tactical gear, came and offered them food, rations and what not. They reason for this was because their newly found benefactor needed them to be in peak physical condition.
Dave and Ricky, the thugs that worked for the new Crime Lord in Metropolis, were overlooking the 'new recruits' that they were almost surprised that this city was filled so much with, standing amongst them was a tall, muscular, physically fit woman with blonde hair and semi-tan skin. Her hair was kept in a high ponytail, and she was wearing a black sport bra and matching sweatpants with the name "SANDRA HIACK" sewn on opposite sides of the legs. The other was another masked man, but wore different tactical gear compared to the rest of them, a state-of-the-art camouflage suit with a standard black a plate carrier vest over it, a kukri machine hanging from behind. His was known by the rest of his crew as Ravage.
Two other figures were standing in the shadows while the main four of Shame's lieutenants were overseeing the process that was being made to gain the trust of their recruits.
Ravage:"They will need lots of time to even be ready for training. Some need more food than others, even medical attention."
Dave:"You can leave that to us. We're masters at getting exactly what our little troopers need."
Ricky:"Right. Just like that time we had to heist multiple pharmacies and clinics in Beverly Hills."
Dave:"Hey. How were we supposed to know those three girls would be spies?"
Sandra:"I vaguely recall them giving you trouble around that time."
Dave:"Well, what better reason to go all out than to have fun with these powers?"
Ravage:"Baring that in mind, David, the boss wanted this job to be done quietly. Do you think you can managed that?"
Dave:"Absolutely. Still, I wish I could have with the girls we're going be dealing with in this city."
Sandra:"Six superpowered adolescents..."
Ravage:"Nothing that we haven't already faced before."
Ricky:"Shame said he would deal with the himself."
?:"The real shame is that he won't let us out to have a little fun with those girls ourselves!"
The four turned to the other two they were still in the shadows.
Ravage:"And with good reason, Safari. You and 8-Bit are too reckless. Still too green. We can't risk your destructive behavior on an operation such as this."
8-Bit:"That's too bad. Because I like to think that we make things interesting."
Sandra:"Stuff, you geek. Now tell us, are those Superheroines located?"
Sighing, the one known as 8-Bit went over to a computer screen, pulling up a map with six dots blinking in downtown Metropolis. The screen shifts to a camera feed where the six girls in question were walking down the road; one of them, Barbara Gordon, was holding a worn-out photo in her hands. 8-Bit then switched to locate their boss and switched to see that on the map, he was a phone booth not too far away from the girls are now. For they were about to reach the same booth in but a moment. Coincidence? Or fate?
Ricky:"(pulls out flip phone) I need to call the boss right away. Seems like he might get his chance soon enough."
Dave:"Too bad we can't get in on it yet. But at least, we get to enjoy the show..."
