Tonight was the night of the Rave'n, the school dance held at Nevermore. My date was obviously my Xavier, my boyfriend and I must admit I was extremely excited.
Enid was too. She was going with Ajax, and I was super happy for her. She had had this huge crush on him for months, so I was so glad they were finally making some progress.
'Y/n! I'm totally freaking out! What if he doesn't show up? What if I step on him when we dance? OH MY GOD WHAT IF I SPILL MY DRINK ON HIM!' Enid rants on nervously, fretting over nothing.
'Enid, you're gonna be fine. I promise! You're an amazing girl, and none of that is going to happen. Now I suggest you hurry up and start getting ready or you're going to be late' I say, sitting her down in her chair in front of her vanity to make her get ready.
I do my makeup, I just go for something plain and natural since I don't really suit heavy makeup. Enid does my hair, as it's not really my strong spot.

She braids it in a beautiful beach wave style and it honestly looks so cute.
'Enid I love it! Thank you so much, you're a life saver' I say hugging her. 'No problem, you look gorgeous! Now come on! We need to get dressed or we're gonna be late!' she says as I check the time.
7:15. Shit. The guys were coming for us at 7:30. I needed to hurry. I quickly brushed my teeth, put on my jewellery and then got dressed into my dress.

I look in the mirror and I look pretty, I must admit. I spray my perfume on my neck and wrists, pull on my heels and I'm finally ready to go.
There's a knock at the door and Enid sprints to open it. The door opens to Ajax and Xavier stood in their suits.
'Hey guys! Come in, Ajax you look great!' Enid says. 'You look great too Enid' Aj chuckles awkwardly.
