The next morning, at 8 a.m. on the dot, Jungkook waited for his attorney in front of his car, the nippy, late-October breeze ruffling his hair. When he spotted Taehyung at the door of his apartment building, he instantly straightened his posture, unable to fight the smile that turned his professional demeanor into a joyful, boyish one.

"Good morning, Sir!" Jungkook greeted when Taehyung neared him, with the usual leather brief case and coffee cup in his hands. The driver smiled when he noticed that the lid had already been replaced with a larger, safer one - Taehyung had really listened to him.

The attorney opened his mouth to return the greeting, but the words were forgotten when his eyes drifted from the younger's face to the rest of his body. After a quick scan, his eyes glued themselves to a point below his chin, and the attorney tilted his head to the side disapprovingly.

"Now, is this a proper attire for work, Mr. Jeon?" He asked, raising his brows with a subtle taunt.

"Why, is there something wrong?" The younger asked, his smile dropping into a worried grimace. Jungkook looked down at himself as well, wishing gone whatever displeased the attorney.

Had he put his shirt on backwards? Had he left a button undone, did he look like some inexperienced stripper? The color left his face at the thought. He let out a surprised - and relieved - oh when he found the problem - specifically, the collar of his dress shirt, which had folded inwards from all the fidgeting he did until the attorney came, making his shirt sit weirdly on him.

His hand reached up to fix the small inconvenience, but it froze mid-air upon hearing the older's voice :

"Allow me."

He looked back up and found Taehyung's compelling eyes, instantly dropping his hand.

"Hold these," the attorney asked, pressing his brief case and coffee against Jungkook's chest.

He then stepped closer and reached up behind the younger's neck, unfolding his collar with precise and firm gestures. The feather-light touch of his fingers sent goosebumps down Jungkook's skin.

"You see, our image is the first factor that determines people to put their trust in us," the older spoke as he fixed his appearance. "That applies not only to us lawyers, but the entire personnel. We must look presentable and adequate at all times, to inspire confidence and reliability." He arranged the wings of his collar symmetrically, lifting them up to straighten his shirt. He then tightened the knot of his tie, stepping back to look at his work.

"Better," he declared, nodding approvingly. "Be more careful next time."

Jungkook moved his head in what he hoped looked like a nod, dazed by the lingering feeling of Taehyung's slender fingers against his skin. Soft and warm from the coffee they had been holding, like a gentle caress chasing away the cold. He reached up to loosen the knot of his tie, slightly short for breath, but his hand was promptly swatted away by the attorney.

"Sir, this is a choking hazard," Jungkook managed to let out a laugh, handing the attorney's belongings back to their rightful owner.

"Quit complaining and let's go already," the older urged with a small smile, jutting his chin towards the car. "We're going to be late."

Jungkook complied, despite knowing they had more than enough time to get to the office. He walked around the bonnet of the car and opened the rear door for the older, offering his palm.

Taehyung looked at it for a second, not exactly knowing what the younger was expecting. Then, when he understood, he let out a small 'ah' and handed him his coffee cup before sitting down.
