It is noon, in Tokyo, Japan. Many people are walking and minding their business.
There are two people who are distinct from the crowd as they are wearing suits and ties. One of them is a teenage man wearing sunglasses. He seems to be talking to someone while walking.
"You seem more motivated than usual, (Y/N). Is it because of her?"
"You're goddamn right. What about you, are you excited?" The man who has sunglasses is (Y/N).
His weapon is an axe on his back.

"No, I'm not..." It was a voice of a woman who is right beside (Y/N). The woman petite young woman with short brown hair. Her hair is tied in a ponytail. She has brown eyes with white pupils. She also has two hair clips.
"Oh, I was talking to the Lightning Devil, Kobeni." (Y/N) replied.
"Oh, okay..." Her name is Kobeni Higashiyama, she quickly got embarrassed and dies inside. She then asks him a question. "Are you still thinking about Himeno-senpai's offer yesterday?"
"Yeah, I haven't been able to sleep because of it. I kept imagining her lips on my cheek!" (Y/N) responded.
"He's obsessed with her..." Kobeni thought to herself. "To be honest, (Y/N)...I think you're trying too hard to impress her."
(Y/N) stopped in his tracks, Kobeni also stopped when she saw (Y/N) did that. She began to get scared because she thinks she made him upset.
He then began to rethink all of his life choices ever since he joined as a Public Safety Devil Hunter. He removed his sunglasses and it revealed his left eye is glowing red. "Maybe you're right."
"Nonsense, (Y/N), you're doing the right thing."
The one who said that is the Lightning Devil, who is currently living in his left eye. He lived there because it's in their contract.
"She probably thinks I'm a loser already..." (Y/N) fell on his knees.
Many civilians looked at him and start to look suspicious of him because he looks there is something wrong with his head right now. Also having a distinct red eye doesn't help him either.
Suddenly, both (Y/N) and Kobeni hear lots of screaming from civilians. Many of them started running away, some of them accidentally hits Kobeni, while some of them avoid (Y/N).
Kobeni looks for the source of why people are so afraid right now, she then suddenly sees a large humanoid figure who is made out of wood and even has leaves. "E-EHHH!"
She started to look as if she was crying out of fear. That's just Kobeni, she's very timid.
"It's the Tree Devil!" Kobeni yelled out as she is panicking.
