[3rd Person POV]

"Did you also sacrifice your eye because of a contract?" The woman asks him.

(Y/N) said to her. "N-Not really." He stuttered because he got quite nervous talking to her. After all, he is talking to a beautiful girl with an eyepatch.

"Oh, it's still there? Why are you wearing an eyepatch then?" She questions him.

"I just don't want to spook anyone." (Y/N) stated.

The woman goes quiet for a brief moment. She then asks him a favor. "Can you show me your eye?"

(Y/N) became surprised, he is hesitating if he should show his left eye to her.

In the end, he removed his eyepatch. The woman sees that (Y/N) has a left red eye. She is now the second human to see that he has a red eye after his grandfather.

The first thing (Y/N) saw from her, she chuckled. (Y/N) became curious about why she did that.

"Sorry, I know that eye is supposed to make you more intimidating but It doesn't suit you because you're cute." She lets out a little laugh.

(Y/N) started to blush, he didn't expect that he is getting a compliment.

When Himeno saw (Y/N)'s face became red. "Ah! Sorry, that came out suddenly...what's your name?"

"It's (Y/N)..."

"My name is Himeno, nice to meet you. If you have that thing, you want to join the Public Safety Devil Hunters?" She asks him.

(Y/N) nodded. "Yeah."

"Can I be honest with you?" Himeno stated.

"Oh, sure."

"Can you change your mind about joining the Public Safety Devil Hunters?"

(Y/N) was caught off guard by that. "Huh, why?"

"Being a Devil Hunter is not easy, it's very painful. I have a partner, his name is Aki, he's my sixth partner, so before him, I had lost five partners..." She said with sadness in her tone.

"I'm sorry to hear that..." He expressed his condolences to her.

"Don't be, they were useless. Now I just hope that Aki won't die on me in the future. Are you willing to witness your friends die in front of you?" She asks him if he is ready.

"Then I have to be stronger so I won't let that happen." (Y/N) stated.

"It's not that simple." Himeno chuckles. "But I like your optimism."

(Y/N) hears that it's his turn to take a haircut but he then had an idea.

"Himeno-san, you can go first."

"Oh no, I can't, you've been here first."

"It's fine, I have to insist."

"Ara, a gentleman, okay then, if you really insist." Himeno smiles as she goes to get a haircut.

"Wow, (Y/N), this isn't the same (Y/N) I know when I first met you."

"It's nothing."

"So you're in love with the Pirate lady or what?"

"I don't know, maybe, I just met her."

"We shall see, you're probably the type of guy who will fall in love immediately after she just finished her haircut."

Minutes later, as (Y/N) is reading his comic, he then hears the voice of Himeno.

"Hey, (Y/N)-kun, do you like my new hair?" She asks him.
