The World is a Cruel Place

Danny didn't know what to do now that Kira was in jail. He knew he needed to help her but how? If tried to bust out a criminal he could lose his job forever.
Unless he could find a way to make an excuse and get her out, she would be in there for months, and Danny could not wait that long.
Danny decided to go to the police station and try to make the cop let her go. It was going to be tough though. Some cops were very strict about criminals, but some were lenient.
When Danny got there he walked inside and saw Kira sitting in a jail cell. "Danny, you have to get me out of here. If my dad found out I was the one being punished, he would go nuts on me." Kira whispered trying not to draw attention to herself. "Don't worry. After I explain what happened he is sure to let you go." Danny said with a smirk on his face.
When he walked over to the security guard he was sitting there texting on his phone. "Excuse me sir. That girl over there needs to be released immediately." Danny demanded. "Why?" the security guard asked. "Because she...umm. She was supposed to go to another station." he said, just now coming up with a an excuse. "Very well than." the guard said as he released her.
When Kira got out, she and Danny left and went to find the most-wanted criminal. They searched far for a while then decided to take a break.
They went to McDonalds to get some dinner. Although Kira did not ever taste chicken nuggets, she still had a good time asking questions and getting answers to most of them. Danny did not really have the best answers but they were good enough to satisfy Kira before she asked another one.
After dinner, Danny decided to let Kira stay at his place until they caught the criminal, then afterwards she would return to the underworld with her father. Then hopefully the devil will respect her and not treat her bad or like a tick on his back.
When it was almost time for bed, he gave her a pair of his sister's pajamas to sleep in. Danny's sister was away because she was camping over the summer.
At 10 o'clock Kira laid down in the spare bed in the guest room and fell asleep. And when she woke up the next day she was ready to hunt for a sinner.
