PART TWO: The Battle

Battle. Ayla woke up with that thought as the sun was peering through her windows, she deliberately left them open the night before so that the sun would wake her up. She quickly jumped out of her bed and looked out of the exit of her house. She looked around for the ship. She quickly spotted it. They must've anchored for the night. She thought as she went back to grab her sword. As she took it she looked at her own reflection in the blade.

"Don't fail me now" she said as she did a few swings with it to practise. She made sure she was warmed up for this. After doing a few squats and a few other exercises, she took off and flew away towards the ship.

She circled it once, and saw a few crew members on the deck. That's not enough, she needed everyone to come out in order to knock them off. Even though she was nervous, she was also enjoying this. So she thought of a plan that would catch the most attention. She went through with it in an instant.

Ayla went straight for the pirate ship, and with a loud thud she landed on the main deck and yelled "HOOK!"

All of the crew members jerked around with surprise in their eyes. They were clearly unsure what to do. And now we wait. They were also waiting for their captain. Suddenly she heard noises below the deck. She assumed it was the rest of the crew coming up to see what is going on, and hopefully their captain as well.

As soon as she saw a stampede of men barge through the door that led to the stairs below the deck she took off and observed what was happening while circling around. It seemed that everyone came out. There was one who was dressed differently than them. A man with a red leather jacket and boots who first drew out a sword and then everyone else followed him. Ayla smiled to herself that she managed to cause such chaos in such a few seconds. Her plan was working.

Ayla soared over the pirate ship, slashing at the sails with her dagger. She felt the wind in her hair, soon there will be victory. She took out every single man one by one and threw them overboard. The men on the ship watched her do that flawlessly, they made attempts at trying to stop her but they were unsuccessful. But her eyes were only focused on one pirate. Hook. He was her target. Ayla needed to eliminate him in order to finish her dad's legacy, prevent him from getting the treasure first and save Neverland from his treacherous plans. Her heart started beating faster, it's been a while since so much adrenaline pumped in her veins. The wind whistled in her ears, the sun shone on her head, the sea breeze was slow. There was no better atmosphere. Ayla was trying to knock every single crew member off of the ship, so that her battle with Hook wouldn't be interrupted. She was slowly succeeding. As she was flying around the ship Hook's gaze finally locked with hers. His hair was black like his father's, only short. There was no denying that he was Captain Hook's offspring. That's the only detail Ayla noticed about him, she was only focused on completing her mission. He broke the stare by looking around for his men, but there was only the splashing of the water of all of his crew members that fell overboard. His expression wasn't filled with fear, just with anger it seemed. Good. Angry people tend to be more reckless. She threw the last man in the water and landed on the ship with a slight thud.

"Well well well" Hook spoke finally with a smooth, sarcastic voice "I'll be damned," he paused "if it isn't Peter Pan's daughter" his Scottish accent was clear.

"Yes, as you can see. Ayla Pan, pleasure to meet you" she bowed theatrically

"Harry Hook." he replied and smirked. "Enough of the talking" Hook retorted as he pulled out a sword, a smirk on his face "we both have a task to complete, let's get to serious things shall we"

"As you wish" she replied mockingly as she took her own sword.

"Although," said Hook after a short pause "perhaps this battle isn't completely fair, to balance that, I don't think you shall be allowed to fly....deal?". He stretched his hand out in front of him with a sly grin.
