Ayla opened her eyes, to see a wooden ceiling. She didn't recognise the place at first. She was on a bed that's all she knew. Even if she couldn't remember where she was, she closed her eyes again, the heat was making her sleepy. But slowly the memories came back to her and she jumped up from the bed. Hook. The kiss. Johnny. Every time she thought about him it made her cringe. Hook and I kissed. She didn't know whether to talk to him or not, what was she supposed to do? As she was sitting on the bed, looking at her palms, she realised that Hook was already leaning on the doorframe, smirking, wearing his usual red leather jacket with golden buttons. He smirked. She couldn't help smiling back. There was no denying it now, she had feelings for him, but this shouldn't happen, heroes shouldn't fall in love with villains. Ayla frowned slightly at that thought. What would my father say to this, I failed to continue his legacy. Another thought made its way into her mind. But so did Hook. That gave her a feeling of satisfaction. He slowly walked over to her and sat next to her. She looked at his ocean eyes, getting lost in them. He brushed her hair back once again. She felt him lean in again and his lips touched hers. Shivers ran down Ayla's back as she felt his hand on her hip. She decided to place his hand on the back of his neck. This kiss was much longer than yesterday's, and Ayla enjoyed every second of it.

Once they pulled away Ayla said, smiling "So one minute you want to hurt me and the next you kiss me, you're an interesting person Hook."

He chuckled as she said that and took both of her hands, pinned them slowly to the back wall and placed his hand on her neck, gentler than last time. Ayla didn't object, she just smiled feistily.

"Who says I don't want to hurt you" he said as he moved his face closer to hers. Teasing I see. She smiled. He let go of her after a few seconds, and Ayla realised that he chained both of her hands together again, although they were not attached to anything this time.

"Wha-" she said with surprise "Harry Hook untie my hands right now"

He just laughed

"Remember, as long as you're on this boat you are my prisoner and my property, you should be grateful that I haven't chained you to anything this time." It's true, Ayla was grateful that she could at least move wherever she wanted on the boat this time. She crossed her arms to show that she was pouting.

"Alright then" he took the chain that was dangling from her wrists and pulled it "up you go, we are going on the main deck." he said that and smiled, he seemed to enjoy having total control over Ayla.

"Absolutely not Hook, I am staying right here" Ayla said with a slight frown.

"Don't you think it's a bit pointless to disobey me, after all, I have the ring" he grinned.

"Ugh, fine" she said that and got up from the bed and followed Hook.

"Good girl" he said. That phrase made her blush.

"Can you put it away though, for reassurance" said Ayla

"Alright but if anything goes wrong I'll take it back" he winked as he put it in his desk drawer.

As they walked up on the main deck, she recognised the land in the distance.

"That's Dead Man's Cove" she said, frowning. She could feel the wind in her hair.

"Yes" Hook was looking into the distance, slightly smiling "aren't you happy we will finally be able to get the treasure"

"But we don't even know what the treasure is" she still did not want Hook to know that she knew what the treasure was. And she was also worried they might be walking into a trap "and besides your crew might be there as well" she said looking down.

"Don't worry Ayla" he took her hand "I won't let anything happen to you. You belong to me now."

"Oh really?" she said with a grin "I'm not your property Hook"

He spun her around by her hand and pulled her closer, to the point where their faces were only a few inches apart. Hook looked down on her. "Are you not?" he said with a light mischievous grin.

Ayla stared back at him, her mouth slightly open but said nothing.

"That's what I thought" he chuckled and wrapped his arms tightly around her and buried his face in her neck.

It felt so comforting, Ayla's legs almost gave way. She only collapsed slightly but Hook held on to her.

They suddenly hit the shore and Hook lowered the anchor. They then stepped down onto the beach.

"Could you please let me out of these handcuffs, I mean what if there's danger here" Ayla groaned

"I suppose you do have a point" Hook walked towards her and used the key to open them. "But once we come back on the ship these are still going on you"

"Yeah yeah whatever" she started walking.

Hook quickly overtook her so that he could go first.

The cove was in the middle of the island, so in order to get to it, they had to cross a thick forest.

"Stay behind me" said Hook in a serious tone

Ayla didn't object. He was swinging at the vines and bushes with his sword to create a path for them. They walked in silence for a while. The atmosphere on the island was pretty stuffy and humid, although Ayla was slightly enjoying it. She could not stop thinking about the past events that happened in the last few days. The emotions kept coming back to her, and there was no better feeling.

Suddenly, her thoughts were interrupted by a sharp pain in her neck.

"Agh!" she grunted

The second she did, Hook turned around.

"What's wrong Ayla?"

"I..." she didn't even have time to pronounce a full sentence when her legs gave way and she stumbled to the ground, breathing heavily.

"Ayla!" her vision was blurring but she saw Hook's silhouette running towards her.

She felt his arms wrap around her and lift her slightly. At the same time she felt him pull something out of her neck. It must've been a blow dart.

"Harry..." she tried to say something again

"It's alright love I got you" his voice became distorted "I got you" was the last thing she heard before plunging into darkness.

A.N.

Ayla seems to be very unlucky in all this. Who do you think shot the blow dart? (even though the answer is pretty obvious)

Let me know more opinions on the story. (Apologies for the short chapter)
