Hook POV

"Please, I would do anything to..." his stomach dropped "Ayla?"

No response.

He shook her.

"AYLA?!?!" he yelled

"No this can't happen" his voice dropped into a whisper "don't let it happen"

"Well..... Well..... Well....." retorted Johny "isn't this a turn of events" his smile has never been wider.

"You are heartless." Hook said coldly. He wanted to fight him, but he was in too much pain to do so. Not physical.

He put his head on Ayla's chest. Come on. He was begging to hear a heartbeat. The soft beating was like music to his ears. He was relieved. She was still alive. "How dare you" he looked at Johnny again, holding back tears.

"Is she dead?" Johnny asked, his facial expression unchanged.

Hook's thoughts stopped for a second to process, then in a matter of milliseconds thousands of thoughts crossed his mind. She's alive. I can't tell Johnny that. It's better for him to believe she's dead otherwise he will actually kill her. I have to make this believable.

He let the tears roll down his face without answering Johnny. This made him seem weak, but either way he wouldn't have it any other way. He was terrified for Ayla, and thought he lost her. Never again. He told himself

"I'll take that as an answer" Johnny grinned "Bring her to the cave"

Johnny's men stepped forwards.

"No!" Hook wailed. They could hurt her, they hurt her enough. "Let me at least..." he paused "carry her"

Johnny gave it a thought.

"Very well" he said drily.

Hook rushed over to her and gently picked her up, starting by the head, raising it off the floor, and then placed an arm below her legs so he could lift her up. She looked so frail. Helpless. Hook hated seeing her like that. A glooming feeling came over him. What if she doesn't survive... . No. Not possible. He brushed away the thought.

They all silently walked to the cave. It seemed to be a sealed exit. Hook didn't understand what possibility Johnny saw for treasure. Something caught his eye though. On the left of the cavern there was a square shaped stone, with a handprint. Hook made a connection, that must be where a Pan unlocks the treasure.

"Will this hurt her" he instantly says

Johnny slowly looks at him and scoffs.

"I guess we'll see" he grinned

Hook was on the verge of punching him. It was getting harder to resist. He was so arrogant.

"Put her there" Johnny said "Now"

Hook hesitated. If I don't do this they will kill both of us. Might as well take the chances. Although... I can't imagine a life without her now. He wouldn't let Johnny see him weak again. He gently pressed his lips to her forehead and set her down. She was still full of blood. Hook didn't get a chance to wipe it off.

Johnny almost instantly yanked her arm and pressed it to the stone.

Nothing.

The crew waited impatiently. Still nothing.

Johnny started "This this some kind of -" he didn't have time to finish his sentence that an entrance to a cave simply exploded. No one was expecting it. Everyone jumped back, luckily no one was hit by the rocks. Everyone entered the cave with caution. Everyone except Hook, who ran towards Ayla as fast as possible. A feeling rushed through him as he saw that her eyes were half open.
