14. One More Time

- Ryonan POV -

I looked back at Neteyam, "Why would you take him..?" I whispered as I put my hand on his face, "My friend, Neteyam.." I muttered. "I'm sorry" I closed his eye lids and kissed his cheek, "I'm so sorry." I whispered and got up, starting to walk to the water.

"No- Ryonan!" She yelled but I turned back, something in my eyes, "stay." I said and she immediately stopped. I made my call to Soul and got on her, quickly riding to the ship.

I snuck carefully to Tuk and Kiri, waiting because I knew Jake and Neytiri would do something. Something on the ship blew up and more chaos started. I saw jake and Neytiri fighting, killing them with ease.

They slowly got closer to them, I saw Neytiri with so much rage in her eyes. A mother who lost her son.. a pain that can never be understood unless you've lost one too.

"That's right, they're coming for YOU." I heard Kiri say and Tuk hiss. I heard Neytiri's yells, and I knew that everyone should be afraid. When I looked back, Kiri was gone. "Damn it.." I whispered, getting up and cutting Tuk loose, "Ryonan..!" She said in excitement.

Jake came, "Where's your sister?" He asked, "There!" Tuk pointed and Quaritch came out, a knife to Kiri's neck. "You're running out of time her corporal. You already lost one kid today do you really want to lose another?" Quaritch said, making Jake jerk forward but back instantly as soon as Quaritch put the knife closer, "DO NOT TEST ME"

"Just kill him dad!" Kiri yelled. "Weapons down." He said. I put an arm in front of Tuk so she wouldn't get hurt. I gripped the knife in my other hand harder and hissed, "Oh who's this sweetheart?" quaritch chuckled, making me hiss louder. "You heard what I said." He eyed me, making me throw my knife away in disagreement.

Jake slowly put the knife down, "Kick them away.. DO IT!" Quaritch yelled and Jake had to kick them away. He threw down the ties in front of Jake, "Cuff yourself.."

"No! No don't hurt her ok?!" Spider yelled, coming up from behind us. "STAY THERE! Don't move. Not a step" He pointed the knife at Spider.

I huffed, thinking for a moment, 'Where is Neytiri? Wait.. where is Neytiri' I thought to myself, smirking. "What are you smiling at? You too, cuffs- On NOW!" He yelled and Jake angrily put the cuffs on one of his wrists, "You.. son of a bitch" He said.

Neytiri came up from behind and put the knife on Spider's neck. "Release.. or I cut." She whispered. "You think I care about some kid? He's not mine.. we're not even the same species" Quaritch said but I didn't believe him, I couldn't.

His look and the way his voice sounded said it all. "P-please don't.. don't hurt her" Spider said. "Mom don't kill him..!" Kiri said.

"A son.. for a son." Neytiri said and cut his chest lightly, "I cut." Quaritch still didn't do anything. Neytiri yelled, putting the knife up and was going to stab Spider, "NO" He yelled, taking the knife of Kiri.

He pushed Kiri away and Neytiri threw Spider away. We all went behind Neytiri, "I owe you a death.." Quaritch said and Neytiri hissed back. "Mom.. please- Mom" Tuk tried to pull Neytiri away.

We all slowly backed away, this was their fight. They started the fight, and we were all in the water, "JAKE!" Neytiri shouted and suddenly a ring of fire was formed around us.

We were trapped in, no where to go but back to the ship. Tuk was sucked into one of the hatchets and accidentally let go of Neytiri's hand, "TUK" She screamed, going after her quickly.

Spider and I had to pull Kiri away so we didn't get ducked in. The ship was turning, I tried to keep up with them but my heart panged with pain again. I grunted and stopped, something hitting me and throwing me inside one of the hatches, "Ryonan!" Kiri yelled.

I was suddenly thrown under water, thrashing against everything. I swam up to the air bubble, gasping for it. The ship was still turning, and I had to stay above the water. I struggled to keep up, climbing and swimming through a bunch of rooms I was unfamiliar with.

The only thought in my head.. 'I have to see Lo'ak.'

- third person POV -

Jake and Quaritch still fought, Kiri and Spider still climbing, Neytiri and Tuk struggling to keep up. The ship started to roll over, Neytiri and Tuk with no other place to go. Slowly the ship sank, the two girls only with themselves.

Though the ship was sinking, Jake and Quaritch kept fighting, now going underwater. They looked at each other before going down, now choking each other.

Neytiri was yelling, "Oh pray mother HELP US!@ She yelled. Tuk was scared, so they held each other.

Jake finished off Quaritch easily, now trying to find a way out. He couldn't hold his breath, and passed out.

Lo'ak and Spider split up underwater, trying to find Jake. Spider instead found Quaritch.. Lo'ak found Jake and pulled him into a room with air. Jake woke up as he was able to breathe the air. "Dad it's me!" Lo'ak spoke, "Neteyam!" Jake Sully said breathlessly. This made Lo'ak pause, "No dad it's me, Lo'ak.." He said, "Oh Lo'ak.." Jake whispered.

Kiri was sent a sign from Eywa outside.. She knew. Lo'ak told Jake that he had to hold his breathe to go outside.

Neytiri and Tuk were scared, hugging each other. "Breathe from here- Hey, breathe from here" Lo'ak instructed, "The way if water has no beginning and no end.." Lo'ak started, helping his dad focus on how to breathe.

Eywa has helped Tuk and Neytiri, leading a path to the outside. Soon, the family made their way outside. Still there was one person that Eywa couldn't make it too.

Ryonan was stuck in a completely shut room. No way out, or in. The water started to rise, and the pain in her heart didn't help her breathing at all. She breathed quickly, and hard, "Lo'ak..." She whispered.

She tried her best to keep herself up until there was no more air. She went underwater and saw nothing but darkness.

'Is this really how it'll all end..? But my family... Yeah.. my mom and my dad... my wondeful siblings... I just want to see them.. one.. more.. time..'

Ryonan thought, not being able to hold her breathe anymore. Suddenly, Eywa heard her.
