- Ryonan POV -

It was the next day, Tonowari told me to stay in the village.. not to do a lot of things. I was sitting on one of the walk boards, watching all the sea creatures pass by.

"How are you feeling?" I heard and turned my head to see Lo'ak walking towards me. "Other than being mad I can't go out i'm feeling just amazing!" I sarcastically smiled at him. He laughed softly, sitting next to me. "You really worried us, ya know.. What happened?" Lo'ak asked.

"Honestly.. I don't know" I sighed, looking down at the water. "Well whatever happened, i'm fine now" I said with a small smile. Lo'ak hasn't responded yet so I looked at him to see him playing with his hands.

"What if you weren't..?" I heard him whisper. "Lo'ak.. don't say that" I said but he didn't look at me, "but it could've been a possibility" He shrugged. "I could've been there with you.. maybe if I was you wouldn't have been unconscious in the first place-" He said but I cut him off.

"Lo'ak." I stated but he didn't stop, "I should've been there" He was beating himself up, and I couldn't let him do that. "Look at me" I spoke softly and put my hand on his cheek to make him face me, "You see me, right? I am perfectly fine, and I am doing well" I said

Lo'ak just looked at me, and I swear that just for a second.. I saw something other than worry in his eyes. He raised his hand and it it my mine which was still on his cheek, "Yeah.. yeah you're fine.." He said as I slowly took my hand away, but he just held onto it.

We held hands and looked away, "you're still here.." I heard him whisper and smile.

Since I couldn't go out anywhere, I decided to go help Tonowari with some of the Olo'eyktan duties. "Tonowari, do you need help with anything?" I asked as I walked up to him, who was talking to some villagers. "No need to help with anything, just go rest my daughter" He smiled at me and I groaned, "but-"

"No buts" He cut me off, "Go talk with your friends or something" He finished, "Yeah I would, but my friends are out there. In the water and guess where I can't go.." I complained and he sighed, "I heard Jake and Neytiri Sully need help with some things, go to them" He shooed me off and I trudged over to their cot.

"Hello?" I said, peeking my head in. I saw Neytiri and Jake folding some ampalas, ( kind of like origami but with leaves.. and they can make lots of things from it, get it? ) "Ah, Ryonan. Come in" Jake smiled and I walked into their cot, "My dad told me to come here to give you guys some help, if it's needed" I said, awkwardly smiling and glancing at Neytiri.

Neytiri is quite scary, if I do say so myself. We've never really interacted so being here unnuanced felt rude. Neytiri softly smiled, "That would be nice" She said, her smile instantly making me less tense. Jake offered me a seat and I sat on it, grabbing some of the ampala leaves and making them into easy baskets.

After a few minutes into the folding, Jake got up, "I'm gonna go check on the Ikrans real quick, feed them." He said and left the cot. As he left I mentally screamed, 'Why did you leave me with this scary but beautiful woman' I thought.

Neytiri hummed and kept folding calmy, not batting an eye at me. I started to sweat and I gulped hard. I kept looking between the basket, and her. I heard Neytiri giggle lightly, "Why are you so nervous?" She spoke

I looked at her to see her smiling, "S-sorry it's just.. you kind of scare me" I stuttered, "Don't worry, there is nothing to be scared of" She said and I finally calmed down, "Do you like my kid?" She said straight-forwardly

I froze, "U-uh.. which one..?" I hesitated, "my son" She said, ".....which one?" I kind of found it funny, "Lo'ak" She laughed. "...no" I looked away and continued folding, "He is a good child, and he has our genes so I wouldn't be ashamed of liking him" Neytiri said.

I mean she wasn't wrong, Neytiri and Jake are really goodlooking, and with looks their children came, "Even if I did, Lo'ak wouldn't like me back" I chuckled and finished folding my 5th basket, "How would you know that?" She asked and I shrugged, "He's too good to like someone like me back.. someone who doesn't know what exactly she is" I whispered the last part.

Neytiri was silent, making me look at her who was already looking at me, "I think you are exactly who my son would like" She said. "What makes you say that?" I muttered and grabbed another ampala leaf.

"I just know" She smiled, "I think that's enough folding for now, thank you for the help" She said as I finished the last one. I got up, "Of course! If you need help with anything else, you can just ask for me and i'll be there" I smiled and she nodded, "Bye" I said and as I was about to walk out, Jake walked in, "Oh the folding is done already?" He asked. "Yes, MaJake" Neytiri laughed and I left.
