People believe that Vampires don't need to sleep, while that is true for vampires who give into their Bloodlust. For Vampires who don't want to be animals, they require sleep to keep their energy levels up, or theyd have to consume alot of blood to keep them going.

Lena is not a Bloodlusting Vampire, and as she sleeps, she dreams of better times. Of a world where Magical never killed her mother. Where Her Father lived on. But the dream turned sour, when an unwanted face poped up.

"Magica!" Lena called out angerly

"My sweet sweet Niece Lena. Are you ready to come back to me?" Her voice rang out in Lena's dream turned nightmare.

"Never." She called back. Magica cackled, her dream form zipping and Zagging every which way

"Do you wanna know a secret Lena?" Magica asked.

"Not from you."

"Oh sure you do." The dream changed she saw her father or a shadow of him standing next to her mother

"You see, when my brother first fell for your mother. I supported it. We are witches by birth after all. I loved that my brother wanted marry a witch. For he too hated our vampiricness." She explained showing the moving figures holding each other close with happy smiles. As Magica came into view.

"Lier!" Lena called. Magica's form zipped around again.

"No. See he told me they were expecting you, when we found a way to turn back into human. He said we could all be a happy family. I wasn't too keen on the Idea, but said I would for him." The puppets played out what she described.

"Then Scrooge. Ugh the selfish vile old man ruined it. He came looking for the same treasure we where, but he didn't know the true value of it. We fought over it. He killed my brother, snatched the truesure and ran off." The pupptes played out the vile scene. Magica falling to her knees next to her brother.

"Don't you see it was a Scrooge who caused all of your pain." She slamed her staff into the shadow puppets making them disapate into smoke.

"No you did. You didn't have to but you did." Lena growled at the older vampire.

"But I did have to. The trinket your beloved Scrooge McDuck stole was your father's heart." She softened looking at Lena.

"Encased in a Ruby made from the strongest Magics we could muster. To turn yourself back to human. You must rip out your heart, seal it away. And give it to whom you value most. Their love and life will feed into you, reversing the curse. I was to gift it to him, he was to gift it to you and your mother." She explained. Lena stumbled back tears running down the edges of her face.

"What does that have to do with torturing me for centuries?" Lena yelled.

"When Scrooge stole your father's heart gem. His heart was not given the love and life force it needed to bring him to life. He died. I went to your mother and told her he was dead, and begged her to help me save him. All I needed was you. She said she wasn't going to lose both of her family and took you away. Selfishly leaving my brother her beloved for dead. So I killed her and took you for myself." She explained calmly. Lena's chest tightened.

"Why did you need me?"

"Because If you gave up your heart for him, he'd be alive. You can still do it. It's not too late." Magica almost begged.

"But then I'd be dead." Lena whispered.

"And? Your father would be alive you selfish welp!" Magica's wrath bubbled up as her eyes glowed purple.

"But I'd be dead!" Lena screamed back.

"Yes that is how a heart transplant works."

"He's been dead for over a hundred years. It's time you let him go." Lena spoke a soft whimper in her voice.

"Then I'll take your heart for him myself!" Magica launched herself at Lena.

Lena jerked upright in her bed. Sweat coating her feathers. It was all just a dream, but had Magica invaded her dreams to tell her all of that?

"Good morning my sweet Vampire!" Webby called bursting open the door and waltsing in with a tray. Lena's fears were pushed away as she watched the duckling sit the tray on the mattress and climb up next to her.

"Morning." Lena smiled looking at the warmed up blood bag on the tray. A line caught in her throat.

"Granny thought it would be better If I made sure you drank." She said.

"Oh yeah. I'm gonna run to the restroom first." Lena forced a smile, before making her way to the closest bathroom.

Guilt built up in her soul. Webby, sweet, kind Webby. What would she think after seeing what Lena was like when she fed. Purging the only source of control from her seemed like a stupid thing to do now. One bag wouldn't satisfy an empty stomach. Scrooge is so close to releasing her from the curse. But what if it doesn't work? Going rabid would be the only way for Scrooge to kill her. Lena let out a deep growl then quickly left the bathroom and went back to her room a smiling Webby calmed her nerves.

"Could you at least look away?" Lena asked as she hesitantly took the bag. Webby frowned, but turned to look out the window. Lena took a deep breath and bit into the bag, sucking it dry like a child drinking a juice box. She wiped her mouth of any blood and set the bag back onto the tray.

"Thanks Pink." Lena said softly.

"Come on let's go outside!" Webby called grabbing the tray in one hand and Lena's arm in the other as she pulled the girl through the mansion. Even If what Magica said was true, she didn't care. If Magical truly wanted Poe back, she'd give him her own heart. But she just wants more power.
