the three had settled into their apartment, percy and abby shared a room and georgie got his own room where lola would occasionally spent the night.
ever since their landlord had told them that pets were allowed, abby couldn't stop suggesting to percy that they get a dog.
no matter how many times percy said no, abby wouldn't listen. so today they were going to LOOK at dogs but percy was positive that they weren't getting one.
abby and percy entered the puppy room of the shelter, immediately the two were thrown off of almost all of the puppies because they were barking, jumping, and biting at their ankles. all except for one.
there in the corner, waiting it's turn to see the humans was a small grey french bulldog. percy looked at abby and smiled.
he walked over to the frenchie and picked her up, she immediately was comfortable and trusting in him. percy's heart melted. he looked at abby who already knew what he was about to say.
"we're getting her" he assured her
