Jason's POV

I ran my fingers through her Paisley's hair as she lays on my chest.

I never been so happy to be with with the one girl who captured my heart. I would do anything to keep her by my side.

I love her so much to the point I want just want to get marry to her already. We'll have a big wedding ceremony and I'll see Paisley walked down the aisle in a beautiful white dress waiting to become my Mrs. Carpenter. Then we'll buy a big house far from the city and raise our kids there.

I smiled at myself just thinking about it. It's just a matter of time before that happens.

"Jason?" I heard knocking on my door breaking me from my thoughts.

"Paisley, get off for a second. Please." I said to her politely and she complied.

I got off the bed and went to answer the door. I open the door revealing my mom.

"Jason, I can talk to you for a minute?" She have a serious look on her face.

I look back at Paisley to see her still watching TV before stepping outside my room and close the door behind me.

"What is it that you want to talk about?" I asked curiously.

"It's about Landon." She answered. I knew she'll bring him up sooner or later.

I shrugged nonchalantly. "What about him?"

"I want to ask you if you had talk to him recently?" She said.

I shook my head. "No, the last time I've talked to him was at the party. Why? What happened?" I asked, faking concern for my supposedly "friend".

Mom sigh and tub her temples. "Well, his parents called about his whereabouts since they haven't seen him in almost a month. They're thinking about involving the police in this."

My eyes widen a bit. "Um, I don't think that's really necessary. He runs off all the time. I mean, he left home for a two weeks and came back. I'm pretty sure he'll come back soon." I nervously laugh.

Mom narrow her eyes at me. "Do you know something, Jason?" She asked.

I shook my head. "No, mom. I don't. Even if I do, I would've told you. Right now, I'm worried that something bad might happen to him."

Mom stare at me for a second before nodding. "Yeah. Let's hope that boy is safe out there."

I nodded, agreeing with her and turn to go back into my room.

"Jason." Mom stopped me.

I turn back at her. "Yeah?"

"Don't hurt her. She seems like a nice girl," she says.

I rolled my eyes. "Seriously, who do you think I am? A abuser? I would never hurt her! Besides, I was a kid when that incident happened. I didn't know any better. I can't move on from it because you and that old bitch keep mentioning all the time!" I raised my voice at her.

Why can't anyone just be happy for me? I will never lay a finger on Paisley. She's my soulmate, my queen, my light to my dark days, my angel from the heavens.

"Jason, there's no need to get angry. I just don't want anything to happen-"

"I'm done talking to you now." I cut her off.

"Wait Jason, I don't mean to-"

I got inside my room and slam the door in her face before she could finish what she gonna say.

I glance over at Paisley to see her sitting at the edge of the bed with a concern look.

"Is everything ok?" She asked.

Instead of answering her, I went towards her.

"Jason?" She called me with a questioning look.

I place my knee on the bed between her legs and press my lips against hers.

I want to dominate her body, heart, and soul. I want her to know that she belongs to me and me only.

I trail my mouth down her neck tasting her smooth skin as she gasp.

"J-Jason wait." She push me away and I was confused. Why is she stopping me?

"Is anything the matter?" I asked.

Paisley look up at me through her thick glasses. "I-I wanna talk."

"Talk?" I repeated in confusion. "Talk about what?"

Paisley nervously looks away. "You. I heard you yelling so I wanna see if there's anything wrong and I feel like we don't talk much since we dated, only having sex. I don't want our relationship to be based only on that and I want us to communicate more," she says, looking back at me with those beautiful brown eyes.

I cracked a smile. "Sure, princess. We can talk if you want to." I sit on the bed next to her and reach to fix her glasses. I smirked seeing her freeze up.

"Um. . .what did you and your mom talked about?" She asked looking down at her hands.

"Oh uh do you remember my friend I introduced you at the party? Landon?" I asked. She look up at me and nodded. "Yeah, I remembered him. Did something happen?"

I look away and scratch my neck. "Well yeah, he left home few weeks ago and nobody knows where he is. His parents figured he ran away or something but I don't know. They're planning on bringing the police involve in this." I told her, faking the sadness in my tone.

"Really? I hope nothing bad happens to him." She said with a worried expression.

I nodded, agreeing with her. "Yeah, I hope so too."

Then we sat there in silence for few seconds before I spoke up. "Anyways, why don't we continue watching the movie? Yeah?"

Paisley nods her head. I smile and place my arms around her waist and pull her close to me. I kiss her on the forehead as she snuggled against my chest.
