Paisley's POV

"Come take a selfie with me, Paisley," Alison said putting her arm on my shoulder. She held her phone out in front of us where our mini selves popped up on the screen.

I giggled and put up a peace sign and smiled as she had a goofy look on her face and snapped the pic.

"Damn, we look good," she said. I lean over and look at the picture. "Hmm. I know I do but I don't know about you." Then I pointed at her face. "Is that I booger I see?" I squinted my eyes.

Alison scoffed and push my shoulder playfully. "Don't play with me." She laughed and I laugh along with her.

"So, how's things going with you?" Alison puts her phone down on the table and turn all her attention to me.

I blew out. "Where do I start?" I use my finger to push my glasses from falling.

"I'm all ears," Alison said.

"Well two months ago, I met this guy and became friends with him while I was in a relationship with my ex and it was clear that he didn't like him at all for some reason. Long story short, I caught him cheating with my ex-best friend at my friend's party and on the same night I slept with that same friend," I explained.

"Damn, that is so messed up for what they did to you. You're like the sweetest person I've ever met and you don't deserve all that shit," She said with sympathy.

I gave her a smile. "Yeah, your right."

"So, did anything happen between you and your friend?" She asked.

My smile grew bigger and I looked away embarrassed.

"Oh my god! What happened?" She exclaims excitedly.

"Ever since that night, we started messing around and developed some feelings for one another and from that, we started dating two weeks ago." I said.

"Look at you!" She nudged me on the shoulder caung me to smile. "Who's the lucky guy?"

"Oh um his name is Jason."

"Well, that's a-" She was cut off by my phone ringing.

I pick up my phone and answered it. "Hello?" I asked.

"Hey Princess." Jason's voice said on the phone. ''Oh hey Jason!'' A smile came upon my face.

''Where are you? I stopped by your house and your mom said that you left two hours ago,'' he said.

''oh um, I'm out wth my friend,'' I said.

''Friend?'' His voice came out low. '' What friend? Do I know this friend of yours? Who are they? What are their names?''

''Jason, relax. She's cool.'' In the corner of my eyes, I can see Alison smirking beside me.

There's a long pause before he spoke up again. ''Anyway, where are you? I'm coming to pick up you,'' he said.

"I'm at Sally's Café," I said.

"Alright. I'll be there in five."

"Okay."

Then we hang up the call.

"So..." Alison had a smile on her face.

"Um that was my boyfriend," I said.

"Oh. Why'd he called?" She asked. "He called to ask where I am so he can pick me up."

She nods her head. "Cool."

"Paisley!" I heard my name being called. I turn to the person and a smile made its way to my face after seeing who it is.

"Hey Jason!" I stood up to embrace him. He snake his arms around my waist and held me close. "Hey baby." He lean down me pressed his lips on mine causing me to smile.

I heard someone clear their throat. "Forgetting someone?" Alison said.

"Oh right." I pull away from Jason and he grab my hand, locking our fingers together.

"Jason, this is Alison. Alison, this is Jason." I introduced them two to each other.

Alison stood up and hand out her hand towards him. "Nice to meet you, Jason." She tilt her head to the side and smile.

Jason look at her hand before meeting her eyes. He smiled and took her hand and both shook on it. "Likewise."

Then he turned to me. "Are you ready to go?" He asked.

"Yes." I turned to Alison and said my goodbye and we both left the cafe. We got into his car and drove off.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"We're going to meet my parents," he said. I froze in shock after hearing what he just said. "What?"

He glance over at me and smiled. He grab my hand and interlock our fingers together. "Don't worry, Princess. They'll like you. I promise," he says before looking back at the road.

''Okay.'' I gave him a small smile before looking out the window.

Sorry for not posting in a while. I've been busy with school work(i did summer school) and my Auntie's wedding, etc.

I want to be honest with you guys, I don't know where this story is going and I felt like it's getting boring (for me at least). I wrote this story out of bordeom and it was orginally written for my other two main charcters before changing their names. It was supposed to be a short cute love story but i change up the story a bit and wasn't expecting 23,000 people reading this story.

It blows my mind just thinking about and I never thought I'll get this much reads.

But I wanna thank you all for reading and liking this book even though it has many spelling errors and confusion and all that stuff. I'm still improving on my writing a bit and I hope taking creative writing class helps me with that so i can write better stories that you all can enjoy.

But I'm grateful for you guys being here since the beginning. That meant a lot to me.
