Emory's POV
I help Paityn bring the body into the house, and everything went black.
I wake up and look at the clock next to my bed and see that it's not there, then I realize I'm not in bed, or even in my room. What the hell? Where am I? I look to my other side and see a dead body. The cop's dead body! "Ahhh" I yell and scoot back quickly. I look around anxiously and realize that I'm inside my basement. "What am I doing down here? I don't remember coming down here whatsoever." I hop onto my feet and head upstairs to the basement door. It's locked, dammit. "Hey, Paityn!! I got locked in the basement again! Can you open up the door please!" I yell as loud as I can. After a couple of seconds, I hear Paityn's heels tapping the floor quickly and the door swings open.
"What do you want?" She says with a harsh tone.
"I got locked in the basement again, so I was calling you so that you could open it up for me. Why? What's wrong?"
"What's wrong is that you threatened to call the cops, cussed me out, and then passed out. Listen, I can't risk going to jail so I threw you in the basement." She shrugs as she says this.
"What? I never cussed you out or said anything to you. I helped you with the body and then woke up next to a dead body. I have no idea what you are talking about Paityn. So leave me alone and stop accusing me of things that I didn't do! That's all you have done our entire marriage and I can't stand it. I can't stand you!" I say at the top of my lungs. At this Paityn storms off and I grab Raeveon and leave the house.
