Road Trip

Rose's POV

I pack all of our things and load them into the car. I plan on taking Raeveon on a road trip as a surprise to go visit her boyfriend in Maine. I quietly get Rae and change his diaper and clean him up before taking him out to the car, grabbing his stuffed narwhal, Mr.Wiggles, on the way out. I buckle him up and start driving. About half an hour later I hear him whine. "Good afternoon sweetie." I smile at him. He babbles back, cooing quietly. Once we reach a rest stop I hop out of the car and get Rae. "Well someone needs a change huh?" I chuckle and go into the bathroom with him. I quickly change and feed him, watching him drink his milk hungrily. I burp Raeveon and head back to the car. We get back on the road and I let Raeveon color while sitting in his car seat.

Time skips to boyfriend's house, Raeveon's POV

Rose takes me out of the car and I see my boyfriend on the front porch. I get excited and I run to him with my arms wide open. "Chase!!" I yell happily. He picks me up and hugs me. "I had no idea I was coming to see you!"

"Well, Rose thought it would be a nice surprise for you since your mood has been off since You guys moved in together," Chase says as he smiles ear to ear.

We play board games and watch movies until morning and I eventually get tired. "Hey, I'm going to bed guys."

"Okay" They both respond.

"I'll be up there in a second to help you unpack baby," Rose says. I nod and walk upstairs to the guest room. I end up falling asleep and wake up in the middle of the night, feeling like I'm being watched. I turn around and see Rose with her phone out taking pictures of me sleeping.

"Rose?" I am very confused.

"Oh sorry, I didn't mean to wake you, I just wanted to show you how adorable you look when you're asleep." She replies

Rose is a terrible liar so I can tell she's not being honest as she puts a fake smile on her face. "Oh, um okay. But uh, Can you please stop?"

"Yeah, of course." Rose chuckles and leaves the room. I get up and lock the door behind her just to be sure she doesn't do it again. I soon fall back asleep and brush the incident off as nothing.

I wake up the next morning and smell breakfast from downstairs. I hop out of bed and go downstairs to see a table completely covered in food. Pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, and grits. I widen my eyes in amazement. Who made all of this food? It must be me Rose, chase can't cook at all. I see mommy come out of the food closet.

"Good morning honey." She smiles as Chase walks into the room, completely shocked. "Woah." He whispers.

I sit down at the table and say thank you. I start eating and soon become full. "That was amazing, thank you.", I say gratefully. Chase nods in agreement. After breakfast, we all go shopping for food. We reach the baby section. "Go ahead and get what you want," Rose says. I grab a couple of bottles and toys, and putting them into the cart. "Dat's all I wants." We head back to chases house and watch tv together.
