I've stood at the edge of this valley before
When I trudged the long way around.
I've stared into the deep, obscuring mist
And I made plans to seek higher ground.
But like a gravity, it draws me close,
The valley whispers with a saccharine grin,
'The only way to the other side is through'
So headlong, for better or worse, I step in.
