It's those in-between kind of moments,
Where your hearts feels like it's breaking
And coming back together in a new shape,
Where your tears taste like honey
And a laugh escapes your throat more like a scrape. It's that happy-sad mashed-up kind of love,
Tied to that rock in your stomach that's sinking,
Pulling you away from this moment where you wish you could stay,
In the instant where the Sun and Moon swap places,
Living and loving in that eternal gray.
