After her hangout, Danah was walking home alone after separating from the rest of the gang. She felt better today now that she had a defence mechanism from any stray Vampires.
As she walked, to be sure, she would reread the instructions on the product multiple times in case she somehow encountered a Vampire again.
Finally, she arrives home. She stops at her front yard to fumble through her backpack for her keys. When she finds them, she heads for her front door when something catches her eye from her peripheral vision.
Looking up, she sees a tiny aerial animal that was perched on her balcony. She furrows ber brows, wondering why a bat would be lounging there.
Then it hits. At an instant, both sides of Danah's lips curve. The bat finally noticed her as well, tilting its head.
Danah rushes to her front door, kicking off her shoes when she gets inside. She runs up the stairs and goes inside her room, dropping her backpack on the side.
There, she finds that the bat had already transferred into its Vampire form. She playfully rolls her eyes and unlocks her balcony door.
"You seem excited to see me," Sheep teases. Yeah, when Sheep told her he'd see her soon she didn't think he meant the next night. Sheep had been a part of her recent nights since November 30, and she had no complaints.
"Who's the one that flew all the way over to the other person's house?" Danah raises an eyebrow up in amusement.
Sheep pauses, "You got me there."
"You wanna come in?" Danah gestures that he can pass.
He shakes his head, "It's fine. I just wanted to check up on you," he tells her.
"Why's that?" she asks.
"Cause you're pretty dumb," Sheep bluntly says whilst thinking of the time Danah recklessly tried going out on the night of the Vampires.
Danah blows a raspberry, internally admitting to hear self that he wasn't completely wrong.
Sheep then eyes something behind her, "but I see you've gotten smarter." Danah then follows his eyes to the Vampire repellent. It had fallen out of her bag. "You don't plan on using that on me, right?"
He began shifting his weight side to side, displaying a look of discomfort. Danah laughs and decides to make fun of him, "I won't, unless you give me a good reason to."
"I should leave before you get a chance to then," he jokingly turns around.
"Hey, I was just kidding!" Danah frowns, running up to block his way. He pauses in his steps, and he couldn't help but smirk at her cuteness. Realistically, he could easily brush past her since was taller than her and much stronger, but he decided to let her think she successfully blocked his way. "So they do really work then?"
