Queen Yang was giving Danah a more official tour of the palace, proudly showing her different antiques and their meanings. Danah was glad that she was welcomed by the royal couple.
"Over here are our sons' rooms." They reach a long hallway with seven doors that lined down. Queen Yang points at the first one, "This one is Jungwon's. Let's go in."
Go in? "Wait," Danah attempts to stop her. "I don't want to intrude into his privacy. You can take me somewhere else."
"Nonsense, let's just go in." Queen Yang assuringly opens the door, smiling from ear-to-ear. "Go on!"
Danah sighs, defeated. She enters and is welcomed with a bedroom that could be the same size as her living room at home.
The outlook of his room was lavishly polished — Everything was well organized and shiny. He must take cleanliness seriously.
There were even multiple awards placed on the wall on one part of his room. "I didn't know he was in taekwondo," she raised an eyebrow when she sees half of the awards were from that field.
"He's a fine martial artist," Queen Yang flaunts the achievements of her son. "He's the Vice President of your class, yes?"
Danah nods, "You must be proud of your son. He's even the top student." She was kind of envious of him.
"Of course, he never fails to make me proud!" she gleams with purity. It was somewhat hard to believe that this little woman was the Queen of the Vampires.
I wish my mom was this involved in my life. "He's always been one to fight to win his goals. He'd make a great king one day," Danah smiles.
"He looks forward to becoming king. However, he's still in process of training," Queen Yang chuckles. Wow, so he's studying to be king.
Danah nods, showing that she was actively listening to the queen's statements. She notices a picture of a cute cat on the side, "Isn't Jungwon allergic to cats?"
"Very," Queen Yang follows Danah's eyes and looks at the cat picture. "There was one time when he was a child he touched a cat and we had to send him to the ER."
"Oh," Danah's eyebrows furrow. His allergy reactions to cats are that bed? He seemed fine that one day with Rose a few days ago...
A guard stands by Jungwon's room, knocking on the doorframe. "Queen Yang, the king has requested to promptly speak with you."
The boys and King Yang must be done their talk. The queen sighs, "Well then, I must excuse myself. I'll see you around, Danah." They bow to each other before the queen bids a goodbye once more.
The queen exits with the guard, leaving Danah all alone in Jungwon's room. She wondered if she should leave or not when something catches her attention.
