Humanity and its Kin

  Humanity as a whole, was not the original species it has evolved into. It in fact was created by outside forces. Whether it be a cosmic being or an Elikar Scientist goofing around with cells, humanity and a few other races share an origin, as well as specific bits of information in their DNA.
  Earth, conquered home of humanity, has become a booming war driven factory filled with as much life as it has guns after untold centuries upon centuries of unending war. Once they figured out space travel, they conquered the sol system, and then the surrounding systems. But with a growing star spanning empire, the United Earth Empire became the Sol Dominion, giving entire worlds to royal families to rule over in the name if humanity and its future, under the rule of a 'democratically elected' emperor.
  The first 'xenos' race humanity had incountered was the Underkin. Short, Stout, and as strong as any body builder on earth. Through trade relations and the Underkin seeing the might of the human war machine, offered to be vassalized by the Dominion, rather than fight with what little they had. Keep in mind that underkin weaponry was generally more powerful and advanced then humanity's, but humanity could simply win with overwhelming force. Not all Underkin were happy about this, and the internal government of the Underkin empire is still just as tense today as the day after the signing of vassalage.
  Though technically not a xenos race, a mutation amongst humans began to pop up. These "Half-breeds" are not the mixing of races, but simply a description of their size. They resemble that of halflings from works of fiction, almost akin to dwarfism, but they just look like downsized humans.
Humans still call them Half-Breeds, because even though it's not exactly an inhuman thing, it still slightly 'alien' to human minds.
  Another xenos race with kinship to the human race, are the Impish Nomas. Smaller than half-breeds and the most thrifty of the human-kin races. Entire cities built around the pursuit of coin. Even their government is business based, with their leaders being a board of executives. They also opted to become vassals of the Sol Dominion, though viewing them more as valued customers than a threat.
  Each of these races have their differences and cultures, but all now fall under the rule that is the Sol Dominion. For how long will the peace between kin last before the Underkin build enough warships, the Half-Breeds rise to the drums of revolution, the Nomas choose to make humanity their next product, or humanity starts to become another human purity rule? Only time will tell. Yes, only time will tell.
