AMELIA GOT DRESSED in denim shorts, a maroon resort shirt with a black bikini and white sneakers before heading off to John B's.
"Leaving again?" Ward asked
Amelia turned around "yeah-" Amelia started.
"Sweetie, look. I love that you're making friends, but I worry you're making friends with the wrong people. Those kids are a bad influence," Ward said sweetly.
"They're not a bad influence, dad", Amelia sighed.
"I don't expect you to see it. But I'm a dad; it's what we do. We see through people's behaviour," Ward reasoned.
"Dad. Look, I love that you care. But I'm fine; they're not bad kids. And I'm sick of everyone looking down on them," Amelia said, crossing her arms.
"Just be safe, please" Ward sighed.
"I will", Amelia promised.
"I love you, kiddo" Ward smiled.
"I love you too, Dad I'll be back tonight," Amelia said as she walked out.
AS AMELIA WALKED to the chateau, she saw a familiar blonde hair, blue eye pouge in front of her.
"J", Amelia called out, JJ turned around.
"Oh. Hey," JJ greeted as she stepped in line with him.
"Your old man okay with you hanging out with us?" JJ asked sarcastically.
"He doesn't control me" Amelia rolled her eyes playfully as they walked up the steps to the chateau JJ pulled her back and placed a finger to his lips, she was confused.
"DCS! I know you're in there!" JJ shouted
"J-" Amelia scolded
As John B sat up, JJ jumped onto the win to seal, and John B gasped as JJ laughed.
"Jackass" Amelia called as she walked in and sat down.
"You should've seen your face, man", JJ laughed as he walked in.
"Yeah, yeah" John B rolled his eyes.
"So boys, what are we doing today?" Amelia asked
"I want to go to Lana Grubbs's house", John B said, standing up.
"You want to go to the house that belongs to the widow of a man who sunken ship we found?" Amelia repeated
"Dude?" JJ asked
"Why?" Amelia asked
"Maybe she knows something about the compass or my dad", John b reasoned.
"John B, she's grieving, and besides, should we be walking around town this carelessly looking for answers? I mean, we almost got killed. God knows how many other people are chasing after this shipwreck..." Amelia sighed, standing up
"She's right, man, it's too risky." JJ shrugged
"Look, I get it. But it'll just be a quick visit," John B comforted as he walked out, JJ looked at Amelia.
"I guess we're going", Amelia sighed as they both walked out.
IN THE VAN, on the way to Lana's house, JJ was mocking John B about Kiara.
"I'm just saying, I don't understand why you don't at least try with Kiara. She likes you," JJ said.
"She's like 'oh John b'" JJ mocked
"Is that what she does?" John B asked in disbelief
"She's sketchy about you diving. Then she kisses you" JJ shrugged.
