-Jasper's POV-

Everyone began screaming, and yelling as some called for help. Some leap to Tyler's aid and others run to Bella and Edward. Bella saw the onion ground, smashed as she would have been. She looked at Elodie as everyone swept the van back.

-Bella's POV-

Jasper pushed Kitty into someone's arms as he left. I nodded my thanks to him for saving my friend. "Are you okay!? Are you hurt?!" Mike asked me. "Don't worry about me. I'm not the one with cancer!" I yelled as I looked at Antoinette. Angel ran over to me to see if I was okay.

"What happened!? Did anyone see what happened?!" Eric asked others. Amid the chaos, I saw the other Cullens looking at Edward and Jasper. But they showed no hint of concern for their safety. Instead, they look at them with disapproval and fury.

The ambulance came as the Paramedics placed Kitty on the stretcher. I sat in the ambulance as I held Antoinette's hand. She was slightly cold as she lay there. The paramedics put an oxygen mask on her. Angel sat next to me. When we arrived, they took Kitty to get tested and to get more oxygen.

Angel stayed with Kitty and Sebastian stayed with me. Once I sat on a stretcher, the double doors burst open as Charlie runs in, face white with terror. He spots me sitting, the E.R. doctor looking into my eyes with a pen light. On the next gurney over, Tyler, the van's driver, lay with a mild head wound.

Charlie rushed up. "Bells. Are you alright?" He asked. "Were you able to get anything on Antoinette?" "I'm fine, dad. Calm down," I replied. "I don't know if she's going to wake up soon. I'm in the dark as you are. But she'll come in here when they're done with testing"

"I'm so sorry, Bella. I tried to stop," Tyler asked. "It's okay, Tyler," I answered. "It sure as hell is not okay," Dad shot back. "Dad, it's not his fault," I started to say. "We nearly lost you two," Dad sighed. That was when Kitty in a wheelchair, with a new oxygen tank and with Sebastian on her lap came into the ER.

"She's going to be fine," Her nurse sighed in relief. "She doesn't have a big concussion, very small. She fainted from the hit of her oxygen tank" "That's good," Kitty softly spoke up as the nurse left.
