As Lola drove through town, she took in this logging town that was to be my new apartment. I saw that every storefront has a wood carving. The Timber Museum's sign is two loggers sawing a stump. The police station was a small wooden building across from City Hall.
The car pulled up to gray-colored apartments. Home. Lola opened the trunk as she carried my bags inside. We walked up the stairs to the second floor. Lola opened the door with the keys that were given to me by grandma. We entered the house and I looked around the living room.
