We left off with Katsuki doing the ball toss which means that they're officially starting off with how fast they run. Also, I'm gon be making shit up so I hope y'all like it.

-3rd Person POV-
Aizawa led his new batch of students over towards a small track of five rows. "Iida, Asui. You two are up first. You should know how to do this so just don't start until I say so. Also, remember to use your quirks to the best of your ability." the scruffy teacher instructed, Iida and Asui taking their places before hearing a start. Iida immediately rushed off, going 50mph and earning a time of 3.04 seconds while Asui hopped, gaining a time of 5.58 seconds.
It was clear Iida was going to win a speed test considering his quirk is engine but like Aizawa was thinking in the moment, speed won't help him win every test. The next students up were Ochako Uraraka and Mashirao Ojirou. Uraraka decided to use her quirk, Zero Gravity, on her clothes to make herself lighter. Ojirou used his quirk, tail, to bounce and propel himself to the finish which allowed him to get 5.49 seconds which Uraraka got 7.15 seconds.
This time, Aoyama and Mina were up against each other. Mina was would've been barefoot if Izuku hadn't modified her shoes to work with her quirk and Aoyama stood up straight, facing away from the finish line. There was some light teasing here and there but it was all in good fun seeing as they're friends. Izuku noticed Aoyama did look quite uncomfortable lugging around that big belt so he began to think up little mockup designs and inventions that could help beside carrying around some bit piece of metal.
He snapped out of his thoughts once he heard 'Go.' so he could observe the race. Yuga placed his hands on the back of his head, bent his neck so he'd look downwards, and his bent arms rested on the sides of his cranium, as if to protect his skull as he jumped up and activated his quirk, shooting himself backwards with a navel laser. It would've been a straight shot if not for the fact that his quirk stopped midway meaning he had to activate it once more, gaining a time of 5.51 seconds.
Mina secreted acid from her feet which seeped through the shoes, allowing her to slide around on it while also releasing acid from her hands so she had more slip to work with. She got a time of 5.44 seconds. "Hey, Aoyama-kun. Why'd your quirk stop in the middle?" Mina asked, as they walked back to the rest class, specifically Izuku and Denki. "Using my quirk for more than a second can give me a stomachache." he answered.
"Maybe I can make you something that'll help with your quirk so it hurts less and it'll allow you more mobility. That belt is most likely really tight on the vertebrae of your spine as well as your internal organs so that could be adding to the pain, not to mention it's heavy. You shoot your laser from your navel right?" Izuku asked as Aizawa tested other students and listened to their conversation, curious as to where it's going. "Yes, my quirk is Navel Laser." Aoyama replied.
"Do you have a bellybutton piercing? Or would you be open to getting one? Since they're naval piercings, I could probably use the materials of your belt to make something that'll allow you to have more control over the laser and you'd be faster since you wouldn't have that belt slowing you down." Izuku said, Aoyama and Aizawa in shock as Izuku offered such a simple solution. "Y-you can do that? You would do that for me..?" Aoyama asked, touched and tearing up a bit.
"Of course, Yucchan. You're our friend and we're not just gonna let you keep hurting yourself when I have a solution. Plus, I made my costume and gear as well as Micchans' and Decchans'. If I didn't, I modified it." Izuku said, as Yuga came to hug him. "Thanks, Zucchan..." he said, squeezing the greenette before letting go. By now, everyone but Izuku and Katsuki...
"Midoriya, Bakugou. You're up." Aizawa said, now aware of the harsh tension between the two students mentioned as they walked over to the track. Katsuki ran off with his arms crossed before moving them to be back behind himself as he projected small explosions to help him run faster before reaching the finish line at 4.13 seconds. The majority of people were amazed, at least a little bit by Katsuki's speed. What amazed them more was Izuku's speed as he got there in 4.14 seconds.
