Chapter 8 A Dream Of Discovery

Y/n P.O.V.

Dave: "I don't understand what were you thinking."

I was sitting down on the living room couch drinking tea while Dave was scolding me.

Y/n: "I didn't think I just did, I did what I thought was right in the heat of the moment, to save my friend."

Dave: "Y/n it's not your job to help people, you should have gone for help, even if you were trespassing."

Dave gives me a sincere look as he sits down next to me on the couch.

Dave: "You're the only one I have left that's close to me."

He puts his arm on my shoulder. He has a concerned look on his face.

Y/n: "I'm sorry Dave, I should have gone for help."

I turn to face him and the concerned look looks to lessen.

Dave: "It's okay just next time leave it to the professionals ya simp."

He gets off the couch to head to the kitchen.

Y/n: "Hey Dave?"

Dave: "Yes?"

Y/n: "Whatever happened to my Mother and Father? Sorry if this seems to come out of nowhere."

Dave: "I believe that is a topic for another time, now it would be best if you go to bed early because you are on punishment."

I drank the last of my tea and headed to the kitchen and washed my mug. I went to my room and lay down on my bed and thought why did that place resonate with me so much it almost felt like I belonged there. Deciding it's best not to dwell on I lay my head and try to go to sleep. That was until I heard a ding from my phone. Opening up the message I saw that it was from an unknown number.

Pretty bad I'm on punishment because sans told my mom that we were exploring private property
