Chapter 9 Lets Hangout Again What Could Happen

Y/n P.O.V.

Y/n: "Wait by absorb you mean it's mine now."

Shade lord: "No you simply absorbed a part of the Void that lets you use it at your own will."

Y/n: "Wait I'm not understanding explain from the beginning please."

Shade Lord: "Fine, you are a vessel, which means you have a small amount of Void in your soul, and through that void, you can call upon the void to aid you."

Y/n: "So that's why I can run faster than normal and have increased strength whenever that black stuff is on me."

Shade Lord: "Exactly, but the Void is not yours to control you are simply one with it, which is why it has come out at random, you have not attained mastery."

Y/n: "But only recently has this happened."

Shade Lord: "Do you remember the egg you found near the mountain?"

Y/n: "Yeah."

Shade Lord: "That egg has stimulated the inactive Void in you uniting you with us again."

Y/n: "If you keep on saying this Void is inside of me how do I see and use it."

Shade Lord: "Simply take a look curious vessel."

I take out my soul from my chest to see black liquid oozing throughout my soul.

Shade Lord: "The Void is everywhere curious vessel you just call upon it yet."

As the giant serpent towering over me said those words I felt myself being pulled out of my dream. I had been laying in bed the entire time.

I reach over to my desk and grab my phone to check the time, although it was very clearly morning. The time read 10:24 Am. I groan at the fact I had overslept and put my phone down and sit up.

Y/n (Thoughts): "Was it really all just a dream? No, it can't be it was too vivid I could feel everything. I have to get more answers later tonight."

I change out of the previous day's clothes and change into a new pair of clothes that was more casual for the weekend. I head downstairs and see a note left by Dave.

Dave's note: "Hey old sport, in case you haven't noticed by now your ol uncle Davey is out of the house for the time being, I'll most likely be at work so ring me if ya needs me."

Y/n: "Cool got the whole house to myself."

I make my way to the kitchen fridge and pull out some eggs that I can cook for breakfast. In the middle of cooking breakfast, I get a call from someone and answer it.

Y/n: "Yo it's your favorite anti-social who is it."

Y/n (Thoughts): "Why did I say that? Who answers the phone like that?"

Frisk: "Oh hey Y/n I was just calling to see what you were doing."

Y/n: "Eh just cooking some breakfast. What about you?"

Frisk: "Still in bed surprisingly."

Y/n: "Soooo, why did you call me?"

Frisk: "Chara wanted me to call you for her because she's too embarrassed."

You hear some chatting from behind the phone.

It turns into a scuffle you can hear.

Chara: "Hey Y/n."

Y/n: "Hey Chara you win the fight against Frisk."

Chara: "Wait you could hear that."
