Introduction to Madness

"Morning gorgeous" I swooped down, stealing a strawberry from the plate and sitting on the bench with my favourite trio.

"someone's in a good mood" MJ commented over her sketchbook with a smirk and my grin widened as I studied Peter's eye roll, his pink cheeks a dead giveaway.

"always when I see your lovely faces" I peered over Ned's shoulder as he played his phone game. Something Star Wars related but I wasn't sure what.

"So?" Peter prompted as I munched on one of his strawberries and I rose an eyebrow.

"So...what?"

"Normally when you come over here you have news to share" he wasn't wrong. But now I had to think of something other than I just wanted to see his pretty face.

"I heard you have a decathlon trip coming up?" his lips titled up, I had been caught.

"It's only to Washington" MJ informed nonchalantly. "you should come"

"Don't encourage her" I frowned at Peter's words.

"Come on Pete, you know you'd have so much more fun if I was there with you guys" I winked, MJ chuckling and Peter couldn't hide the smile that lit up his face, ducking his head and I swooned. He was so cute.

"whatever Greene" I ooed at his words, leaning my chin in the palm of my hand. "haven't you got somewhere to be?"

Back at your place, in your bed.

"Maybe I do. Maybe I don't"

"you're missing your workshop" he pointed out and my eyes flashed over to the clock, cursing as I got up quickly. "have fun"

"I'll miss you!" I called behind me before I went sprinting down the halls towards the art block, Mr Harrington warning me to walk as I passed him, and I did slow down. A bit.

Although Peter pretended to hate me, he secretly loved me. I was sure.

I had moved to America to live with my nan a few years ago. Midtown had been the first choice in school, despite me being rather shit at science, they had a good Creative course which sold me the school.

I got to know the trio over the course of a few months, I had also met Flash by then, who I decided almost immediately that I didn't like one bit due to his constant teasing of the trio and pretty much everyone.

So, I told him to cut the shit and leave people alone, which he didn't like, and we ended up in a bit of a fight in my first week. It set the tone for my life here really.

After he didn't listen, I caught him bugging Peter and stepped in once again which then led me to talking to the trio.

I'd never dated but I knew I'd fallen for Peter as soon as I saw him. He was kind, smart, insanely attractive and I found it hard to believe that no one had taken him yet.

I made it a bit of a mission to make him smile every day. Even though he never gave in to my attempts, it was fun. A bit of a game we played, and it always got me excited to see him.
