I lost motivation.

We all got our GED's, and all three of the gang got into MIT whilst I got a job at a small bar near the tower, despite Peter's concern because of the late nights. So, I bought a car, and he stayed up on the phone with me until I got home. This meant Spiderman wasn't sighted around Queens very often which lead to 'The daily bugle' suspecting he died or something. I liked to keep Pretty boy updated with Spidey news.

I got closer with the team, a few of them even came down to the bar for the event nights and I always gave them drinks on the house, because there was no way I was getting earths mightiest heroes to pay for drinks.

I spent some of my late nights with May too, keeping her company whilst she was alone but Happy soon filled in the time Peter left in her life and I couldn't be happier for them. Peter was unconvinced but couldn't really do much from college.

There hadn't been made any major life-events. A few missions here and there for the team meant I was usually on housekeeping duties, watering houseplants and what not.

Nan had finally retired, living her best life down by Virginia Beach. She'd always wanted to live by the sea, and it made her happy. Plus, it wasn't too far, only six hours. I moved out of her flat and bought my own once I started making money, Tony even commissioned me for some art stuff which initially made me really nervous but after receiving such positive feedback I was a hell of a lot more confident.

Things looked good, and when I lay in bed I didn't have to worry about anything, knowing everyone I love was safe and that everything had finally fallen into place.

A: Goodnight gorgeous <3
