Not Tomorrow Yet / Twice as Far

After we left Hilltop, we went home. We parked the rv and gathered everyone in the church.

I listened as Rick explained the situation.

"If anyone objects, here's your chance to speak up." He said

We heard a creqk and turned around. I saw Morgan stand up.

"You're sure we can do it? We can beat them?" He asked Rick

"What this group has done, what we've learned, what we've become, all of us -- yes, I'm sure." Rick told everyone

"Then all we have to do is just tell them that." Morgan told him

"Well, they don't compromise." Rick told him

"This isn't a compromise. It's a choice you give them. It's a way out, for them and for us." Morgan said

I couldn't help but scoff. This man acts like he is so innocent. I swear.

"We try and talk to the Saviors, we give up our advantage, out safety. No, we have to come for then before they come for us. We can't leave them alive." Rick told him

"When there's life, there's possibility." Morgan told him

"Of them hitting us." Rick said

"We're not trapped in this. None of you are trapped in this." Morgan told everyone of us

"Morgan... They always come back." Rick told him

I started thinking of the kids. No matter what decision they make, I will kill these people of they harm my family. I started paying attention again, when Rick walked down the alter.

When he walked out, Daryl, Kira, and I went home. We explained the situation to Beth and Lydia.

Beth would go to watch Maggie, but Lydia would stay with Kira and I. Together we would watch the kids, while Daryl went with the others.

We put the kids to sleep after the girls left. Morning came and the kids said bye to Daryl.

"Mommy, can we visit the animals?" Leo asked me

"Sure, my lion." I told him

Together we gathered the kids and Kira and I took them to see the animals.

First stop was to see our unicorns. We showed them, Amora.

"Mama, who named her?" Emma asked

"Your mommy did." Kira told her

"Why'd you name her Amora?" Alison asked petting her

"Because she was Pink and when I saw her running I fell in love with her." I told them

After they petted her and fed, we went to see Ember. He's our Phoenix.

"Wow." They kids said

"Can we touch him?" Hayley asked me

"Yeah. His flames are only dangerous if he feels threatened." I told her

I went up to him, with Hunter in my arms and soaked in his flames. They were so nice and warm.

"Mommy, do you have dragons?" Henry asked me

"We do." I told him

We took them to see Igneel. He came out and I watched as Kira and the kids flew on his back. They loved him. Hunter would too.

After spending the whole day in the suitcase we ate outside in our backyard. Kira and Daryl built a picnic table for us.

While the kids played, I made sandwiches. I also but up fruit and we ate. It was nightfall and the others still weren't back.
