"Thank fucking god that was the last box," Chuuya muttered tiredly as he folded the last box and placed it by the doorway, he stretched, shivering unhappily when his t-shirt lifted and some of the cold apartment air gently caressed his skin. He wanted to swear again under his breath but decided to remain quiet, instead shooting a look towards the couch. Chuuya sighed and walked up to it, whacking the man who resided on it harshly "Oi! Did you hear me? The last box is unpacked."

"Really! Oh! What a joyous occasion!!"

"Joyous!?! You didn't do shit! You just sat on your lazy ass and left me to do all the work, Dazai 'the lazy fuck' Osamu," Chuuya chided angrily, despite his anger, Dazai flashed him a charming smile, to which Chuuya could only roll his eyes at.

He would have complained more and would have told Dazai off for more, but admittedly, Dazai had worked incredibly hard for this apartment. Dazai, even though he was eighteen, about to turn nineteen, still had problems socializing and believing in himself. Dorms hadn't seemed like a reliable option for him as he was the type of person whose energy drained from being around people and putting up his façade. But at the same time, he didn't believe that he would be able to adult properly enough to live on his own. Out of the two options, though, Dazai and Odasaku thought it was best he lived on his own, and if he ever needed anyone, he could always ask someone to live with him.

Given how doting Odasaku was and how his writing career was thriving, he had plenty of money to support Dazai by buying him the apartment and paying for it but Dazai had insisted he would pay half the bills and support himself too.

The male had spent half a year working as often as he could to save up for furniture and decorations (much of which was decided on thanks to Chuuya- because he liked decorating). Dazai had worked hard. He'd looked for the apartment, met with the landlord to get well acquainted with her and slither his way into her good books. He'd bought the furniture and would continue to buy basic living supplies and anything that might tickle his fancy.

So really, Chuuya couldn't fault him for relaxing. Dazai was the type to not feel stress in stressful situations, it would suddenly hit him after everything was finally over, it made sense that he passed out on the couch now, especially considering Chuuya was going to have it easy, he didn't have to work as he was dorming, and the only money he needed was for basic things and things he might like. Kyoyo and Verlaine were going to be sending him money weekly.

So, if anyone out of the two of them needed to relax, it was Dazai.

He sighed and glanced towards the kitchen. "Got any drinks?" he asked, looking back down at Dazai, who was now gazing up at him.

"Yeah..? Who doesn't have water-"

"I meant alcohol you idiot, don't act like you don't know what I'm thinking."

Dazai simply flashed him a cheeky smile and hummed before closing his eyes again, to resume his best talent, which was the art of doing nothing. Somewhat satisfied with Dazai's answer Chuuya walked to the kitchen and looked around for some alcohol, his search didn't last very long, as he looked through the cabinet near the fridge he found an unopened bottle of Sake. He took it swiftly out of the cabinet, popped open the bottle and walked back to where Dazai was sitting.

He motioned for Dazai to make some room for him on the couch. Irritated but compliant, Dazai lifted his legs so Chuuya could sit and then rest them back down on his lap. Chuuya opened the bottle carefully and then placed it on the Kotatsu table in the living room, taking a gulp from the bottle with a content sigh, then placing his hand on Dazai's leg and rubbing circles into the fabric of his trousers. Dazai hummed again, reaching his hand out as a way of asking for the bottle, Chuuya didn't say anything, didn't even glance at him, he just handed him the bottle, looking out the window as he did so.
